I came in around 7:30 at night and there is signage on the front door that they had no brisket, no bone in chicken. The service was above average but I had to ask questions. I got the large barbecue sandwich plate which included french fries and coleslaw. The food was OK, but I will say that the quantity was well above average. He certainly get your moneys worth here.
Brisket was dry, pork came with yellow sauce already on it when I asked if it had sauce and was told no. $30 for 1 person and the chicken was just ok. The hash and rice was the best thing.
Cool place. The service was great! The food was okay. The brisket was nice and soft but lacked flavor. However, the banana pudding was good and the sweet potato fries and potatoe salad. I'd stop again and try something else in another trip through the area.
