This review is being made while I sit here and dig through my salad.Always out of something especially broccoli and cheese soup, slow service, food isn’t worth it. Overall just a disappointment. Got a chicken Caesar salad and more than half of my salad was hard centers of the salad. Just a trash salad. Still picking through my salad to get them out.We’ve been here maybe 3 times and every time there’s been a problem. Thanks to the military we’ve lived in several states.Unfortunately Lexington McAlisters is the worst by far we’ve ever been too. Which is so sad because we love McAlisters and it’s literally around the corner from the house and we will not be returning.

Order half a sandwhich and soup. Sandwhich was tiny triangle of a sandwhich .. 1/4 of the half with no condiments at all. Second time giving them a try.. won't be back for a third time.

McAlister's has been around for awhile and one of the traditional' 'go to' places in Lexington. There is a large adjacent parking lot that services the commercial strip mall of which McAllisters is a part which is convenient but doesn't mean you'll always park close. Like most places McAlisters seems to suffer from lack of help and when we visited many tables were not cleaned and the restrooms needed attention. Those who were working were extremely pleasant and trying hard to please the many guests. Was nice to see the shift supervisor working many positions and greeting customers on arrival and apologizing for the wait when served. Truly a dedicated employee. Wait time to order was about 5 minutes and food arrived in around 10 minutes. To sum up, it was worth the wait. The French Dip was stuffed with meat and cheese and the sides were delicious. The au jus was flat, cold and unseasoned and essentially water with a bit of bouillon. However , a replacement was happily provided and the staff interested in our observations. The Southwest chicken salad was also delicious despite a tired avocado ingredient and red onions cut in too large chunks. The Italian sub was huge and packed with meat and cheese and worth the 15.00 price. McAlisters tea is legend and refills were cheerfully accommodated. Desserts are always great at McAlisters and the cookies and pie were terrific as usual. This is family friendly dining and an overall pleasant experience. We'll be back.

this has to be quite possibly the worst mccallisters I've ever been to. they not only take FOREVER to get your food, it was me and 2 other people in the restaurant & it took 15 minutes to get our food. to top it off the portion size was horrible as well.

Really came in for the broccoli and cheddar soup but forgot the discontinued the bread bowls. So they gave us a pile of stale crackers to put in the soup.Sandwich was good as meat seemed freshly sliced but the soup still tasted better than the Sandwich.Please bring the bread bowls back!!??Service was very slow for only ordering 2 bowls of soup and 1 Sandwich though.Pickle spear wad dehydrated so not really able to eat.Maybe try again in a few weeks.
The food and service are consistently good, I always forget it's in Lexington, the spuds are amazing!!

Usually love this one for lunch but their night shift does not care. Whoever made my sandwich just balled up the ingredients (minus the extra honey mustard I asked for) and put it on 2 pieces of bread, even though it’s a club and supposed to be on 3 pieces. The nacho basket I get all the time and I swear they just dumped a can of rotel in the cup with 10% cheese

RUDE MANAGER! I just placed a doordash order and had a horrible experience with this store. The first person I spoke with on the phone was rude and sounded like he was on something. I didn’t receive 2 sides that I had ordered and all of our sandwiches were soggy. When I spoke with the manager, she didn’t care about the poor customer service I had received or the fact that our food was soggy. She was extremely short with me and said she would refund us $.69 per side we didn’t receive. She did not even apologize for the inconvenience or seem to care in the least. We will not eat at this location again.

We waited 45 mins before we asked if there was a problem or if they'd missed our order, their response was... "naw it's just busy".I said, well can you please provide an update if it's past another 15mins, they didn't. Then we watched other people (3 sets) go and make the same inquiry, and the workers responded with "we don't know how long it'll take." Then another customer went up and asked for their money back and left.We also noticed the cooks in the kitchen playing while people waited for food.Not a good experience. The staff needs a manager to assist in keeping the workers on task.
