Chicken strips more crust than meat. Biscuits have very little taste. Red beans and rice actually still pretty good. Table sticky. Have eaten at a lot of Popeyes. This is not one to go back to.

First let me start with the customer service at this Popeyes (1860 S Lake Drive in Lexington) it is HORRIBLE!! Most of the employees are very rude and act like you owe them something. It seems like they don’t like their jobs and they’r mad with you for placing an order. The food is barely ever fresh when we order and they always mess up our orders. They got mad because they left out the second order wings with sauce. So the employee handed us the bag with the container sideways. Needless to say the sauce wasted all over the bag which made a mess. It wasn’t always like this, I guess they have a new team of employees or something but they really give Popeyes a bad name. It’s the closest one to our home so it’s the one my family goes to and we eat there multiple if not several times a week. Think We might just stop going.

Now I know why this Popeyes is not busy. Ordered 1/4 shrimp meal. Half of the small portion of shrimp was just batter bits. Asked the person if they had cocktail sauce, they said it's in there. Not there. Cold Cajun fries. Hard biscuit with no honey. I got got. Not again though Popeyes.

Worse Popeyes I have come to I waited 30 mins at the drive thru.The workers seemed confused and just standing around.the manager or lady who looked like the manager was rude and yelling at the workers! She had the worse attitude so no wonder this place sucks! Go to Chick Fil A across the street and don’t waste your hard earned money here!

Red bank Popeyes the staff is ok Food is great tastey and hot. The staff is nice 🧐 but the menu sucks not good i never got attitude with the staff all though they made it seem like that the way they talked by the tone of there voice and they think they can over rule all because opinions I'm not going to say...you should be able to get what you want with out getting charged the whole price instead of getting a whole combo. Why not create like a $3 menu for like certain foods instead of a combo I rather go to Wendy's then Popeyes..at least Wendy's you can do like a $5 deal..Popeyes for real need to upgrade this ain't no one thing going on oh and there were comments said they think I didn't hear they horrible. I hope this place goes out of business or get new management over the company that can do more better and if you look at the staff it's all the same and not different every other restaurant you go to the staff is different cultures. I will not refer anybody to this restaurant I will not go back to this restaurant and hopefully corporate people will change his business and do better with this business because this business is horrible and the price for the combo was not worth that price and the lady that spoke she was rude the staff was rude everybody in that kitchen was rude

TRAIN YOUR DRIVE THRU AND FRONT COUNTER AND FOOD LINE WORKERS ON HOW NOT TO STAND AROUND WAITING FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO BAG ONLINE ORDERS!!! OVER A FREAKING HOUR LASTNIGHT AFTER GIVING MY NAME 8X TO 2 DIFFERENT CASHIERS AND THEY DON'T BOTHER TO LOOK FOR MY TICKET OR ORDER, NAH, THEY GOTTA ANSWER THEIR PHONES AND REPLY TO THEIR PEEPS INSTEAD!!!! Had to stand in line 15 minutes to pick up my food, and I had to inform them that they only gave me one drink, not 2, that was ordered. Also only order I asked for tartar sauce and I got none.

My wife just picked up some chicken for lunch and supper. It is very good, but we are still trying to figure out why the person in the drive-thru got such an attitude when my wife told her we did not want biscuits.
What is the deal?
Some people don't like biscuits, especially Popeye's biscuits. The idea of paying for something we don't want is ridiculous. Why would the person working the drive-thru get all huffy about that? My wife told me the employee almost shoved the chicken box at her through the window! When she got home, the box was all crumpled in the bag. She said it was a result of the Popeye's employee shoving it at her.
