This is one of our go-to restaurants in Lexington. Service is crazy fast (only complaint is you hardly get full on the chips and salsa because your meal comes out so quickly ??, haha) and the workers are so kind. They are always all so kind and accommodating for our daughter (extra plate, high chair, etc) and check on us throughout the meal. I love the toppings bar when we eat in, which is most of the time since it's so quick. We haven't had a bad experience and are grateful to have them nearby. I usually get the fajita taco salad and I love it. My husband got the chimichanga today and it was also delicious. The fajita meat from my salad is some of the only meat our toddler will eat, so they get an extra point for that! Definitely recommend!

I will never go here again. We have eaten inside and ordered online quite a few times. The bald guy with glasses that works there is an idiot! He yelled at me for asking for a to go tray and going to their toppings bar for tacos and filling up a tray. I gave a 5 dollar tip on top of the 33 dollars I paid for the tacos mind you! He then tells me the toppings are there only for guests! Who the heck am I then? I paid you for the food and tipped you and you're going to tell me I am not a guest there and I cannot take toppings to go? For the record I ordered it to go because my son is sick and we didn't want him sitting inside disturbing the other guests! You're going to tell me I'm wrong for taking toppings now! Plus I rent a spot from your boat dock from the owner! I hope this guy gets disciplined and you offer me a refund! The salsa he put in there that's too spicy for my kids dumped all in the bag and on the food but I didn't complain or come back asking for a refund. Feel free to reprimand this guy but also know this! I will never go here again with some disrespect like this!

One of the Managers(?), specifically Jesus tried to argue with me after I told him my food was cold and that it made me sick. He proceeded to argue with me that it wasn't cold and would not give me a refund. He must've been watching me when I was eating, which is pretty freaky. Eat here if you want cold overpriced food. Jesus definitely did not act like the real Jesus.

There are many San Jose's in the Midlands, but none like this one. This has the best food and a taqueria style atmosphere. Highly recommend the Machete Burrito, it's not on the menu.

staff are always super friendly, food is ready quickly and tastes great! once i left my wallet there on accident, and the manager/owner came to my house 30 minutes later to give it back! i hadn’t even realized it was gone. incredible service. you can tell they are passionate about their work.

I have been coming here since it opened in 2017. I can’t express enough the pleasure, The consistency of the food and great family atmosphere these folks provide is outstanding. The staff is always willing to help and attentive. Management makes you feel welcomed and at home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a great dining experience!
Worst ever food finally came out and circled the room while some waiter didn't know where he was going just parading around asking people if it was there's or not. This San Jose is my favorite. The gentlemen working here are so kind and friendly! They are fast in their service and the food is spot on, always. This is our go to Mexican restaurant spot. They have booths on each side and long tables in the middle for larger groups. Outside if weather permits you can sit at a table with an umbrella. You walk in and order, then grab a seat. They meet you at the table with fresh salsa and chips. We've tried just about everything on the menu, but their carne asada tacos-Mexican style are AMAZING! If you're out this side of the lake and craving a reasonably priced meal, this is your spot. And I mean who doesn't love queso?!
