“SO!!!!! Can I just tell you!!! My mom and I were supposed to go to Damon’s Rib & Steakhouse for my birthday, as your dinner is complimentary on your birthday. When I got to her house after work, it was clear she really didn’t want to drive all the way over there and the fact that I just drove 25 minutes from the same location somewhat, neither did I. After saying no to a few suggestions, lol I finally agreed on The Big Easy which is right down Hwy 90, 15 minutes from the house. With her being adamant about driving, it was a good decision. ANYHOOOO…. We get there and it is a diner, but not like Double T, it’s small (only five tables and two booths) it’s dated, cluttered and more with a to go sandwich shop feeling than the comfort of a diner. In my mind I was thinking, this is definitely not what I was thinking for dinner…..But I held my tongue because it’s the thought that counts… LET ME TELL YOU!!!!! Don’t judge a book by its cover because literally the BEST red beans & rice I have ever had . And I lived in Nola for three years, working for Dicky Brennan Co, who is considered the restaurant royalty of families in New Orleans. The gumbo was sick and the shrimp and grits were insane!!!! The man behind the counter who was cooking , came over to the table to talk to his and he was from Louisiana and luckily my love for the show Swamp People and Troy Landry is the only reason I understood him . If you haven’t eaten at The Big Easy Diner and you live here, you need to and when you come visit me, believe me when I tell you, I’m taking you.”

“Best in South Carolina! Food is Southern cooking at its finest! Crab legs are fresh and served hot at a price you can’t beat. All of the personnel is super friendly and on top of it. We’ve been there at least 20 times in the last year and never ever had a problem. It’s Local, it’s friendly and it’s Southern!!! Heading there tonight with our visiting guests!”

“Outstanding food, prepared to perfection. Our server, Travis, was attentive without being pushy or annoying. We enjoyed their special of the day, Crab cake Stuffed Grouper over Lobster Risotto with fresh asparagus. They are famous for their buttery Lobster Roll, 🦞 so we ordered it with sides of hand-cut fries and beer-battered onion rings. OMG!! Everything was delicious! The portions were ample. Next time we'll try some of their Italian specialties. The friendly crowd of locals dining around us today were ordering generous servings of Italian pasta dishes. Everything looked scrumptious.”

“This place was AMAZING! I read the other reviews and all I can say is DO YOUR HOMEWORK! First of all the low rating for Pepperoni Rolls that states “Beaulinos were better,” …. They make the rolls that are sold at Beaulinos! And who in the world would heat up an eclair?!?! Don’t listen to those 2 bad reviews…this place is the best! Love their bread and pepperoni rolls the best of anywhere!!! Will definitely be back whenever I visit!”

“Some of the best seafood in Horry County. I’m local and have lived here all my life. So I’ve eaten a lot of seafood. I’ve been disappointed a lot by seafood restaurants serving up cold greasy food. Salt Water Grille is the best, perfectly fried, not greasy, freshly cooked seafood ! I’m picky about fried oysters, my favorite! Theirs are fried perfectly. The flounder, shrimp, scallops, and crabs are too. They make their sauces from scratch! And the waiter is excellent! We haven’t eaten there yet when the food wasn’t delicious! If you’ve never eaten seafood at Salt Water Grille, you’re missing out on some of the best! Steaks are good too, and so is the buffet with just about every Southern comfort food there is!”

Oh and I put in my order on line and it was ready in less than 20 minutes! Now I realize this wasn’t in the middle of a busy summer day but still it was nice!”

“drive thru for pizza is nice but is tight and tricky with big vehicles. parking lot is small. workers are very friendly and do there best. sometimes there is a small wait but er rewarded with fresh HOT food”

“Our go-to for Thai and Chinese food. There is something to be said for a resteraunt that is ALWAYS busy and Jay's Asian Fusion is it! Their reputation precedes them, the variety they offer, and the quality of their food and staff is note worthy. If you like spicy food, try the Thai Cashew Chicken, Hunan Chicken, Curry dishes, and ask to make your other meals "Thai spicy." The egg drop and hot and sour soups are a great addition to any meal.

*only giving 4 stars for the atmosphere because we have only ever ordered take out, but we have been impressed with what we have seen when we go in for carryout.”
