On our way home from a beach vacation, we stumbled upon this charming spot, and we're so glad we did. It's quickly become one of our favorite places, and I wish there were a location in the Charlotte/Lake Norman area. I highly recommend trying the chicken salad and macaroni salad—they're absolutely delicious!”

“Crust was excellent. Sauce was very good. All the pizzas are the same price. Which is great. Except when I asked if we could get 1/3 and 2/3 of different kinds. The first person said yes, when we picked what we wanted the person who took our order said nope, can only do 50/50. My husband eats a lot more than I do. I don't understand not being more flexible if all of the pizzas are the same price. We didn't order anything extra. But we went with the 50/50 and I will say the pizza was excellent. But we've done the 1/3, 2/3 other places (even when their pizzas are not all the same prices), and have never been told no. But we would definitely go back. Just know that if you don't happen to be in the mood for the same kind of pizza and it's just two of you, you better have the same appetite size. If not for that, it woul d have been a five for sure.”

Can’t believe this little place out in Conway is so good, honestly. Definitely give it a try- you won’t be disappointed. (We had tacos, rice and beans and fajitas)”

“This is the first time that I have ever had Shorty’s Grill and that was absolutely amazing. We got our food to go but when we walked in everyone greeted us with a smile and a warm hello. The atmosphere was just home feeling and warm. I will recommend everyone to stop by and get some amazing food. Thank you Shorty’s Crew for amazing food”

“Stopped in on Wednesday and tried them out. It was all so good. Went back today (Friday) and got more.. On Wednesday I had Fried Pork Chops with rice n gravy, collards, green beans w/ Potatoes and cornbread. Today I had the Stew Beef, mac n cheese, rice n gravy, collards and cornbread. I also tried the chitterlings and hog maws. It was all tasty so I went back and got a box of Ham hocks with rice n gravy to-go. Great restaurant with great service”

“We were there on thursday, 4/24/25 and everything was exceptional! My husband tore into his salmon before I could even get a pic. The salsa with chips has a heat to it, so when I added the green sauce on my enchiladas, whew.. the sangria soda was new to me but went well with the spicy. Our friends enjoyed their meals with the only complaint that the gordita had ground beef instead of steak but it was still very good. Our waitress was a middle aged woman with a lovely smile and was very attentive.”

“Delicious subs. Have had the BLT, pastrami, hero mixed and their salads. Everything is fresh and delish! We drive 20 minutes for their food! It's just that good! Customer service is great, too! You can have everything just the way you want it. Check their hours, though, as they close early during the week.”

“Just started eating here last month and this is the best Chinese food in this area hands down. I've tried Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pepper Steak with onions so far. Cooked fresh when ordered but service is fast.”
