“My husband and I dined here over the weekend for dinner for our 23rd wedding anniversary. It was our first time dining here. We highly recommend this establishment. We had a 6 pm dinner reservation and were seated promptly. The hostess told us about the specials for the evening. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. We had the crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were delicious. We both had Cesar salad and honestly it was one of the best Cesar salads I have ever had. My husband had the NY strip and it was cooked to perfection. I had one of the specials blackened swordfish topped with mini crab cakes . It was delicious. Dessert came next my husband had the NY cheesecake and I chose the tiramisu. We were not disappointed. They have a dessert cocktail menu. I was shocked that they offer a Pink Squirrel. My mother’s favorite drink was a Pink Squirrel. She passed away 10 years ago. I can remember sneaking a sip when I was a kid. I ordered one in honor of my mom and I was pleasantly reminded of my mom so thank you Sam Kendall’s for that gift and a wonderful anniversary dinner. We will definitely see you again.“

“June 2025 - Party of 7. Excellent cocktails (probably the best cosmopolitan I've ever had). All the food was so delicious! our server was awesome and the rest of the staff also did great. Much improved from previously. Had a great dinner!

Feb 2025 - The atmosphere is significantly improved with the sound dampening panels that have been installed. It's much quieter, we could actually converse across the table!
They were out of A LOT of items (7 or 8 things that I can remember) and for an early (5:30pm) Saturday evening reservation, that's terrible. Whomever did their ordering WAY under prepared for the weekend. That said, what we did get was delicious. 8 of us and the only complaint was the mashed potatoes were cold.
It was really busy and our primary server was busting her ass to treat us right. The secondary floor staff, not so much - for example, when they brought out salads, my husband's was set down on top of his used, dirty appetizer plate.
Overall it was a good meal and we enjoyed ourselves. Will return.

July 2024 - Food was all delicious. High quality but not overly stuffy. Good service. Beautiful place, but it's very loud - nearly impossible to carry on a conversation at the table.“
