The Dear Donut is a little shop off the main highway in Lugoff, worth the small detour. The shop is cute on the inside, and the staff is friendly, patient, and kind. There is a wide variety of donuts to suit anyone’s taste, including apple fritters, and the donuts are delicious, soft, and melt in your mouth. Everything is made to order. Besides donuts, they offer cheesecake, tres leches, banana pudding, coffee, drinks, and some breakfast sandwich options. The latte has a great balance of coffee and flavoring. The seating is comfortable and fun, though there isn’t a huge space to hang out inside. The owners are incredibly kind and have created a cozy space. The Dear Donut also personalizes orders, which makes a big difference. Highly recommend!
