The food was very good. I am a pescatarian, and the fried shrimp was delicious. My daughter is a vegetarian, and they made her a lovely plate of stir-fried vegetables. The meat eaters in our group enjoyed their meals also.
I have to say, the restaurant I visited was hands down the finest place for soul food! Every aspect of it was absolutely outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavor-packed, while the mac and cheese and collard greens were simply amazing. I had the pleasure of dining there during the Cooper Cummings Family reunion, but sadly, it's unlikely that I'll have the opportunity to go back anytime soon.
