Best oysters, the local cloisters are the best flavor. Please try the shrimp dip, not over powering, just perfect. And they have crab roe for she-crab soup. I drive from Greenviile, SC for these people. And awesome staff!!!
This place has some of the best seafood prices in the Lowcountry. Their quality is unsurpassed and is definitely worth the longish drive from charleston if you're buying large quantities. The workers are super nice and help you plan what to buy. The drive itself is a pretty one alone highway 17, so you can make a fun half day of it and enjoy looking at the shrimpers on the wharf before buying some great seafood! This place is more worthy of a day trip from Charleston/Mt Pleasant than just about any other in the low country. The dips are incomparable and the pickled shrimp will be gone before you get home, if you dare to open them in the car.Barbara is the definition of “Southern Hospitality”!
