Abbracci Italian Cuisine & Cocktails

Not recommended.
1. Restroom is not enough. Only two restrooms are available, had to wait extended time for one. It’s always occupied.
2. Something wrong with the food. Had very severe diarrhea following the visit.

My husband and I had a delicious meal with friends here tonight !! Our server Alicia was so wonderful and allowed us time to relax, visit and enjoy our meal ! They have an extensive wine list and cocktail choices! So nice to have this great Italian restaurant in our area !!

We recently celebrated my birthday at Abbracci Italian Cuisine & Cocktails after quite a bit of searching for the right place. The ambiance was nice, and we were seated in a separate room with a large table, which felt private at first—even giving the impression we had our own restroom. However, we later realized it was shared with the rest of the restaurant, so we had occasional foot traffic from other guests.

There was a slight delay in getting seated due to the party before us, which wasn’t a big deal. Our waitress introduced herself, and we started browsing the menu. It was a Friday evening—the start of the weekend—but unfortunately, we were told that seafood dishes weren’t available, which cut out nearly half of the menu options.

Service was slow. It took a long time for food to arrive, and even more time between courses. Some guests didn’t order appetizers, so the wait felt even longer for them. One dish arrived with a hair in it, which the kitchen re-cooked, but it still left a bad impression.

Service overall felt below expectations for a restaurant in this price range. Our drinks were often empty and we had to ask for refills or wine to be poured—no one was checking in. When our meals finally came out, servers didn’t know who ordered what, so we had to go back to the menu to sort things out ourselves.

We were a group of 10, and the final bill came out to over $900—even though only 3 of us were drinking alcohol. While the food itself was enjoyable and well-prepared, the experience didn’t quite justify the cost.

I’d say the food is solid, but the service needs to match the pricing. I’d be open to giving it another try and will update this review if my next visit improves.

We LOVE it here! Abbracci is our favorite restaurant in Mount Pleasant because it's an upscale place with a neighborhood feel. The food is delicious and the service is top notch! Porter, the bartender is fabulous; he makes the best Negroni!

The food was excellent! The first time we eat to an Italian restaurant that actually has great food! Well done! We’ll be definitely back again!

One of our favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant. The food is always delicious and the staff are attentive and accommodating. The bartenders are also exceptional.

Food was great but service is missing something, waited on our order for over an hour and getting drink refills was slow. The manager did come over and apologized and bought us a round of drinks which was nice. Probably will give them another try.

Octopus appetizer cooked to perfection, pasta made in house, and phenomenal branzino filleted at the table. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back when we return to IOP.

I reserved a table for 8 guest with my family for brunch! We all enjoyed our dishes! It was delicious! Our waitress Holly was very pleasant as well!

We recently went to Abbracci for the first time. We had a great experience. The food was very good. We started with a Burrata appetizer, which we both enjoyed. I highly recommend trying the gluten free pizza, which was also very good. Nikki, the bartender, made a great Old Fashion and a delicious Martini. Our server, Georgia, was very nice and attentive. Overall, we had a great dinner. We will definitely be going back in the near future.

We had a fabulous dinner last night. The service was outstanding and the staff were very attentive. We sat in the private room, which was wonderful. It even has its own bathroom!!!! The food was delicious. We ordered several appetizers before the entrees and all of them were wonderful. Everyone loved their entrees, even the kids!! They loved the rigatoni. Personally it’s been a challenge to find exceptional Italian in this area since moving from the North and this hit all the spots! Our favs were the focaccia, limone and Cesar salad, calamari, pollo al mattone, rigatoni, and the veal tenderloin. Next time we will make sure to eat outside. It’s really pretty and private. They have a grassy area where the kids can play and a fire pit. I highly recommend Abbraccis!

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, although our kids chose to eat from the main menu. There is an outdoor patio, we saw kids playing in the grassy area.

Enjoyed dining here with friends. The menu was diverse and our choices were all delicious. The acoustics made it difficult to chat unfortunately.

We adored Abbracci and had an amazing experience. The food is outstanding. We had a few different dishes including the octopus and the Branzino! That was our favorite. 😍 I also loved the peppermint mochatini.

This is THE Italian restaurant in town and definitely worth going to if you haven’t been.

The food is absolutely amazing. I had the squid ink pasta (a must try) and the prosciutto burrata pizza… the dough is next-level good. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into making everything top quality.
We also had an Aperol Spritz and their amazing espresso martini; both perfectly made. The wine selection was also fantastic, so there’s something for everyone.

You can tell they genuinely care about their customers - we can’t wait to go again!

Just had an amazing meal at Abbracci. The octopus was fantastic, kiss of acid, tender, delectable, everything octopus is meant to be. The calamari was fresh with a bright dipping sauce. The bartenders were personable, funny and knowledgable. The decor has a modern, ephemeral quality that is intimate and fun. This is a hidden gem in North Mount Pleasant, no need to go downtown. We will definitely be going back.
