East Bay Deli - Oakland Market

Didn’t like being Ignored when Trying to Patron this Location. Then I noticed why I was Being Ignored. Finally after standing and waiting for a Decent while with no one behind the counter a Lady asks if I’ve been helped. I wave and say no. SHE THEN WALKS AWAY! Then some Guy comes coughing out the back and quotes me 15$ for a Gyro and Fries. While continuously coughing.. Yeah Nahhh…

I paid $14 for chicken tenders without fries. There’s no option to take out the fries to reduce the cost. Even a restaurant in the 60’s would be able to do a simple function the workers cant.

Got delivery, restaurant put wrong food in bag and when we called about it, they said it wasn't their fault. Huh?

Emma was the best and a fabulous waitress. Greeted us with a smile and good attitude, keep up the grind and dedication ❤️ good customer service is hard to come by! Keep her around💪🏻

4 of us met at East Bay Deli.I had already ordered Food came out Fairly.
Quick wasn't cooked all the way the sandwiches We're toasted, not grilled barely toasted.I should say Barely had any sourkraut or dressing no cheese. The worst reuben I ever had

Would be better if we could do our own salad bar..

one of those times when you're just looking for a place to satisfy your hunger, but once you arrive at the place and take the first bite, you realize that you've found a new favorite place.

Enjoyed a great lunch with my 2yo grandson.

Was not a good day at East Bay Deli, the trash was overflowing and the woman in the front was yelling to the people in the back through the expo window.
I ordered a plain dog and a fountain soda, $11.52, for a plain hot dog and a fountain soda plus 15% tip for counter service I should've just skipped. The included side chips weren't in the bag either, super disappointing for $11.52.

This gotta be the worse east bay deli in Charleston… first when I walked in the girl sitting down at the register saw me and turned away to finish her conversation and when taking my order she act like I was interrupting what she was doing. When I order they had me waiting like 30 minutes so I ask one of the workers how long and it was already ready they just never called my name and now my food is cold… do better cause this ain’t it

Our food was apparently given to another customer. The staff assured me that our remade order would have the specifications we requested. So, after having our food mistakenly given to someone else and waiting for a remake, our food was cold and NOT what we requested. Very disappointing!

Nice atmosphere but I will never get the ultimate spud ever again and I will not recommend anyone to do so. It's loaded with unmelted cheese, big tomatoes, half cook bacon and a shit load of ranch dressing and about 6 small pieces of fried chicken. I won't even bore you with how hard the potato was👎. Another thing- if a person is representing your place of business, make sure they look decent or have a discussion with them about their appearance.

Update- It truly means a lot when a manager responds promptly and understands when a customer is unhappy about their service. I am sure things will be better. I was issued a full refund.

Good lunch spot with a large variety of sandwich options and a salad bar on the menu.

They didn’t know how to make an Italian sub. The end result was borderline inedible
