Joey Tomatoes Deli & Market

We were visiting from NY and wanted a taste of home! As soon as you walked in it smelled like home and we knew we were going to eat something delicious! We each got different chicken cutlet sandwiches and they were all amazing! The owner came out and chatted with us for a while, overall it was a great experience! The Italian desserts were the cherry on top!

I don’t know why we waited so long to try Joey Tomatoes, but we’re in love! The food was incredible. I tried to take a pic before taking a bite, but that was impossible. We’ll be back!

Thank you so much for the cookie! I haven’t even tried it yet but the #6 sandwich and that pasta salad have so much flavor I am so happy I stopped by and I absolutely will be back!! You guys are great! I can’t wait to try the bolognese and vodka sauce tonight!

So glad we were able to stop by during our weekend in Charleston. Their food far surpassed our expectations, and their staff were incredibly friendly. If I lived in the area, Joey’s would a regular spot without a doubt!

The Godfather was amazing. Melt in your mouth meat and soft yet crunchy bread. Definitely going back again to try the whole line up.

Been coming here everytime I've been in town for the last year and have not gotten tired of the menu. They recently started serving breakfast... the early riser is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Great environment, friendly staff, and the owner is in quite frequently. If you're there at the right time they will offer samples of new items they are thinking about adding to the menu.

OMG, we we’re on our way back from the beach and decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat. So glad we did! We absolutely loved everything we got, three different sandwiches, one with meatballs, one with turkey and mozzarella and one with the chicken and mozzarella, and all were fantastic on freshly baked bread. we also got some tomato mozzarella salad and the pesto pasta and it was just to die for. Had to top it off with the cannoli that tasted so fresh and creamy and crunchy. The staff were excellent, giving us great recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant, go when you’re hungry.

All I can say is WOW. We were visiting from Boston and on our way back from the beach at Sullivans Island, our son recommended we get a sandwich from Joey Tomatoes. This sandwich was better than the $200 meal I had in Charleston last night. The homemade bread was so light with just the right amount of crisp for the crust, the chicken cutlet was perfectly cooked and tender, not deep fried, and the mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and balsamic topping gave it a wow factor. I’m going to be dreaming of this sandwich. Don’t miss this place if you are in the mount pleasant area.
