A great mom and pop Italian place with legit Italian owners and staff. They have great food and even wonderful service. It's a family staple for us. It's small so be prepared.
I met a couple in the Dallas airport on my way to Isle of Palm. The couple lives in Charleston. I told them where I was heading, and they suggested La Pizzeria. They said it was.on the way and that I would enjoy the food.
So... we did stop there for dinner. Thank you, Alex and Terri... we definitely enjoyed the food. We would not have known about this restaurant, and I had not started talking to complete strangers.

We loved it! Delicious and authentic Italian food, Everything we tried was absolutely amazing, from appetizers to desserts. Lovely and nice atmosphere and people.
