I don’t even know where to begin honestly. This is the best food, the best people, using the best ingredients, the best atmosphere I’ve been to in an Italian restaurant all over Charleston area. The people that own and work here are unbelievably wonderful. They are so sweet.I feel like family when I’m there. I really would like to give it 10 stars if I could. We will be there again next week. And plan on going every week at least once till I die lol!
Been in Mt Pleasant for a week of vacation. This was by far the best meal of the trip. I had a perfectly prepared chicken marsala. Wife had a chef's special du jour - seafood ravioli. It was outstanding.
This is real, authentic Italian and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. I drive 40 minutes and don’t mind at all. La Pizzeria is using flour from the same neighborhood where my grandmother grew up in Naples, Italy. I can’t decide what’s better the deserts or the pizza. The last time I had pizza so good, it was back home in New Haven. I’m going to do a special event there someday soon, maybe sign some copies of my book.
