Review of restaurant only. Nice atmosphere with pretty people eating in this establishment. Menu is limited and food was good, but nothing great. Don't think I would eat here again with so many options in Charleston. Staff was nice and did a great job. Don't make the mistake of dinning outside as you will be eaten alive by mosquitoes.

The food was completely divine! The blue crab toast was to die for, the drinks were perfect, steak was amazing and affogato for dessert was perfection! Everything we ordered was amazing- just go!

Would love another chance to come to this restaurant.

Went to the restaurant in there did not stay, SO THIS REVIEW IS ONLY BASED OFF OF THE RESTAURANT. Food was good, but their menu is lacking! There is so much more potential in their menu, only one burger, the rest are manly vegetables and fruit. And no bacon? NO BACON!!! They only serve bacon durning brunch. What??? Bacon should be served all day everyday. I am feeling kind so I gave this 4 stars. It would be tanking down to one if it was worse. Service was mediocre, but we had a party of about 12+, so it’s completely understandable. Our waiters were very polite, and the decor and lighting was SUPERB. Also we got to see the wine cellar open, as a lady needed to put chairs in there. Pretty cool!

We accidentally mistook brunch for lunch menu. $40 later, the waiter literally rolled his eyes at us.

My family & I tried the restaurant at Post House Inn, and it was absolutely amazing. We were in Charleston for about 5 days and most of us agreed that this was the best food on the entire trip. I have high burger standards and I tried the cheese burger and it was so delicious, I actually want to go back to SC just for that burger. My grandmother tried the tuna melt and said it was good too. The staff were all super friendly and sweet also. 10/10 experience for me.

Had Sunday brunch/birthday. Wife had fish sandwich. Daughter-in-law had Turkish Eggs. Both seemed happy. Son and I had the proverbial chicken ceasar salad. Romain was very wilted, the chicken was little tiny pieces from some yesterday (tuff- cold) and the whole thing was swimming in dressing (yuk). Waitress was bringing the desert menu and clearing plates while my wife was still eating her meal (big no-no)

This is a really special place in the Old Town section of Mt. Pleasant, a really beautiful setting. The bar was excellent, as was our outdoor dining location, with a nice breeze. The food and service were great, too.

Did not stay here, but did eat in the restaurant. Service was great. Very attentive but not over bearing. Drinks were well made
Food was very good.

One ⭐️ because I thought the menu was inspired, although fell short of expectations (turkish eggs’ tater was too greasy, fried rice too salty). One additional ⭐️ because the place was cute, well appointed.

All this to say Post House has the worst service I have ever received- on a global level. The hostess did not greet us/smile/or show us to our seats, just pointed us in the direction of the bar. The waiters/bartenders is where the really absurd behavior came. I am not exaggerating when I say neither bartender spoke a word to us the entire hour we were there. One bartender straight up ignored me on two separate occasions when I asked for milk for our coffee and an extra plate for sharing. For context, he was literally a foot away and facing me. The other bartender never acknowledged us verbally or otherwise, but would do as I asked seemingly begrudgingly (thank God he at least brought us our food??). The crème on top was him trying to bill us for another group’s larger order. Waters and coffees were never refilled, although that seems minor compared to the fact that they completely ignored us and treated us as pariahs. It was like we existed in a vacuum.

Unfortunately, this is not a one time experience. My spouse, who had tried the restaurant months prior, similarly was treated disrespectfully by staff. I assume that this level of toxicity must come from the top down. I would steer clear of Post House. It was shocking to be treated in such a hostile manner during what should have been a lovely Saturday brunch.

Not impressed with the menu. I live in the neighborhood and can walk to this restaurant, but I don't want anything on the menu. They have odd choices - butter bean burger, chicory salad, Turkish eggs w tahini cream, smoked trout nicoise salad. I would suggest sitting at the bar and having a drink here, because it's beautiful inside, but none of the apps are appealing either - salmon pate, blue crab toast. The oysters and marinated olives are ok, but not much else to choose from. I wish someone would buy this place and revamp the menu.

I have been to the Post House (my current neighborhood) before and today I was disappointed. Food was good, wine okay, service disappointing. No one cleared my plate, asked me for a second glass of wine or asked me if I was ready for my check.
