Stopped in on way to Isle of Palms. Wasn’t very busy, mid week about an hour before closing. Staff was great (one was training another and they both seemed to be good at their job, so the training must have been solid). Two adults, two teens and one toddler and we all enjoyed it. The four of us non-toddlers all finished our burgers and thought they were really good (the teens added it to our “we are coming back here next trip to SC). I had the Napa Valley burger and it was fantastic. Also needs to be said that the burgers are a “normal” size - maybe they’re a little smaller than some places, but they’re a perfect size. You’re not dislocating a jaw or deconstructing the burger to enjoy it. A lot of place could learn from this portion size. If you want something crazily oversized, go for the onion rings.

I don’t know what it is about the Mt. Pleasant location, but we’ve NEVER had a good experience. I go to the Park Circle location for lunch sometimes, and it’s great, but Mt Pleasant leaves a lot to be desired. Today was the worst. Had to ASK for a server after sitting there for a while with no acknowledgement from anyone. Then after an hour of waiting for food, I had to go find our server and tell her we couldn’t wait any longer. I watched three other tables come and go with no issues. She then told us our food was literally up to be served. The manager, who never checked on us the whole time we were there, came over with our food packaged to go and apologized. Said our ticket was only placed “30 minutes ago” and that they were behind because of a large party that came in. I literally watched the large party, a kids soccer team, come in about 20 minutes after us. I realized that maybe our server hadn’t placed our food order in time. I’m. Had he been checking tables like most restaurants he’d have known we were just sitting there. The manager did discount our food 30%, so the nicer side of me still left a 20% tip, only to realize when I got home that my side of sweet potatoe fries weren’t in the bag. Based on today, I’ve decided this place sucks. It’ll take me while to consider going back.

I cannot say enough about this place. The food, drink, and service was so good.I had the double smash burger and the hubs had gourmet burger. Flavorful, cooked perfectly, and my salad was pretty good too. I had drinks, a Honey Polama and a Lavender Marini. They were NOT watered down. This place does not disappoint.The Cherry Pie tart with ice cream was to die for!Also, our server was so good. She wasn’t intrusive and didn’t get super bubbly or fake and I love that. She wasn’t bothered when we decided dessert and wanted to see the menus again.
Food was simple but fantastic!! My friend got a club sandwich, and we were expecting a normal deli club. What he got was a giant beautiful sandwich with hand carved meat that had been roasted in-house that day with house-made fresh mayonnaise. He said it was the best sandwich he ever ate. I had a simple patty melt but it was amazing. I asked, and they told me they get custom ground local meat fresh. I only eat beef, and I've eaten a LOT of hamburgers. This may well have been the best hamburger patty I've ever eaten. I live west of West Ashley, but I will definitely be making regular trips to Mt. P for lunch!

Had the Cuban with Onion Rings. Great sandwich and HUGE O-Rings. Good value for the money. Brittany is a great server. Attentive and personality plus. She's a good ambassador for your brand.
