The Front Porch Coffeehouse and Creamery

Walked in, nobody was there… waited for a bit, then yelled hello. eventually someone came out. I asked for a milkshake. She looked at me like I had three heads. Then she found it on the computer and registered it, but it was vanilla cause she couldn’t figure out how to do chocolate. Price was not same as advertised on Google pictures and menu board was broken so the milkshake pricing wasn’t available on there. Then it took another five minutes to make the milkshake. Then when they brought it out from the back, it looked nothing like the picture that’s on Google. When I asked for like some chocolate sauce, they said they didn’t have any and they said that we could probably add more whipped cream, which was probably necessary because the whip cream provided was “lazy”. I showed him the picture and they were like we don’t curate the pictures on Google. And I’m like yeah I understand that but this is obviously not the same thing. Just not a great “service first” group apparently. They all looked a little bit high.

The menu displayed one price when I was charged another for it. The item on the menu was $6.50 before tax but I was charged $7.50 and when I asked them about it they said “the menus prices are from 6 months ago”. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong but is this not false advertising??!!

Stopped by with my wife, daughter, and granddaughters, our order taker was efficient, gelato was ok not too many choices, like 5 and quite expensive

The place was super cute, but I was so disappointed with the service and coffee. The espresso tasted burnt, and the girl at the counter was annoyed with our presence and was extremely rude.

I always have a great experience every time I go into Front Porch (which is a lot)!! They are so kind, helpful, and have the best drinks!! Whitney, DJ, and Kayleigh are the best!!

Love this place!! The coffee and matcha are amazing and there’s lots of great food options too. Nice place to sit hang :) They have something for everyone whether it be lunch or a dessert pick me up.

I'm not a matcha snob, but I wouldn't order the matcha here again. I got it iced, it was definitely sweet enough but there was a lot of tea clumps sitting at the bottom (wasn't wisked). We also got a hot matcha that was nothing to rave over. We also got three sandwiches (The Farmers Market, The Carolina Club, etc.). They were served with lays chips our the bag, which we thought was a little weird. My sandwich just tasted like avocado and nothing else. The service was good and quick- just not worth the money.

I’m a regular and honestly this last review doesn’t sound like the place I know. It’s pretty common for it to go from empty to busy in a matter of minutes.

I’ve never had anyone be rude to me here, and my drinks have always been solid. If something was wrong, they’ve always been willing to fix it.

Just sharing another perspective since this felt a bit exaggerated.

The coffee and food were great, but the staff wasn’t friendly at all. The staff acted like it was an inconvenience to order. The young girls had the dirtiest looks on their faces and one was on her cell phone. Very unfortunate.
