Didn't stay at the resort but definitely will be visiting again. Beautiful area to explore and to take the kids to play in the sand while parents can eat. A meal at the restaurant gets validation for parking so that's definitely a plus.
This place is packed by the guests of whatever wedding is in town, and the bartenders clearly aren't supported well, and it shows. Could be magic, but right now it's just a place to get a drink if you're staying in the hotel at best.
The place is in a private resort area. They definitely had resort prices.The atmosphere is fun and inviting. They have the huge Adirondack chair for photo opportunities. There was a fire pit. A couple of outdoor bars on the sandy beach style are.This seems to be a fun environment. There is a parking fee to get out, though. So plan to stay long enough to make it worth the parking fee.
