Absolutely amazing restaurant. It’s become a ritual to take my wife here for our wedding anniversaries. We always leave so happy with the service. Our waitress Gia was absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment 10 out of 10 recommend and we will be returning!

Pretty terrible experience overall. The best I can say is the food was okay, the beer was cold. Terrible, terrible service from the front door, to the waiter, the food runner, and the completely absent management. The experience was like going to the opening weekend of a brand new restaurant. It was not busy at all so I can't even cut some slack for that, the dining room was less than half full. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Everything was slow, our order got messed up on multiple items. This place has been around long enough that it should have corrected the issues. Bring in some ppl who know what they are doing and retrain your staff. I do not recommend and will probably not be back.

This restaurant is AMAZING! The food was so delicious, and you have to try the Honeysuckle pizza! The atmosphere is beautiful and the server we had was so nice!!! I would definitely recommend.

We’re here for a convention and always look forward to excellent seafood at the South Carolina coast. We ordered the combination fried flounder and fried shrimp for two and were disappointed to realize that the seafood wasn’t fresh but probably frozen. The cornmeal batter was way too heavy, which took away From the flavor of the fish and shrimp. The fries and slaw were just fair. Nothing spectacular. The hush puppies and honey butter for good! They have an opportunity to do something special here, but they need to start with a chef who knows how to prepare seafood. On the other hand, the pimento cheese and barbecue pork grinds were fabulous. We ate outside, which was lovely and the service was good.

The atmosphere is fantastic, but this should not be called Black Drum Brewery, it should be Black Drum Tasting Room. They are not a brewery. We had good food and beer, but the tap list is not updated.

We both had a lovely meal, service was good and the outdoor seats have a great view of the ocean. I'd especially recommend the salmon to anyone who likes fish.

Black Drum Brewing is a great alternative to many of the beach restaurants. They serve real food - not just deep fried options. The brisket was delicious and the salad was very good. The full bar makes a good cocktail and the view overlooking the pools and beach is great.

This was a great spot for our family of 4. Food was great. My husband especially loved the seasoning on the fried shrimp. Portion size was huge. Our server, Delaney, was exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and offered great advice on food and activities. You will not be disappointed.
