George, our waiter, who's been there for about 33 years, gave us exceptional service as did the rest of the wait staff. We had our own alcove, so we were able to converse easily & privately. Incredible view of the ocean & beach was out of our window! Appetizer & salad were good. Shrimp scampi ok. Cheesecake with blueberries & strawberries was scrumptious! Loved surprise sparkler in cheesecake for my birthday. Big negative was parking.... Quite a walk away & on 5th floor of parking garage ( tk. about 10 minutes to get to hotel!)

We've been to the Amalfi Cafe many times over the past 16 years and each time we rave about the food and the service. Each time we have gone, we ask for George as our waiter. He is excellent and always makes recommendations that we might consider. All in all , the experience is the finest in Myrtle Beach.

My husband and I both ordered the Fennel Salad (Tuscan pork belly) for the 1st course, the Caprese for 2nd course, the Short rib bolognese with pappardelle & parmesan for the 3rd course and for dessert i had the cannoli with ricotta & chocolate and he the cheesecake with berry compote. The bread basket was also very good! Everything was excellent!!! Delicious!! We highly recommend it.

Great location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Went here during restaurant week and the food was great deserts were delicious the also have an espresso machine for fresh espresso or cappuccino. Our waiter George was exceptional, friendly, and was an added pleasure to our dining experience. Attached are some photos but not all.4 course meal for $40 was imo so worth it. GR

There were six people in our group. Three people got the filet mignon said it was excellent. Two of us got shrimp and scallop risotto that was very good and one person got a pasta dish and they thoroughly enjoyed that. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fabulous thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was so good. The service was great. The price was amazing for what you received. My only disappointment was where we were seated. It was not in the dining room it was basically along the wall which felt like a hallway and we were seated next to a very large family with children who were not quiet. We would definitely go again but only if we could be seated in the dining room

We had our 3 grandchildren with their iPads for the long adult eating time. No Wi-fi. Apparently only for hotel guests! Italian restaurant out of Calamari! C'est tragique!

Surprisingly excellent! Liked that we had a great view and that it was not crowded at all! Service was excellent!! Food was almost perfect! Over cooked the red fish a bit but will definitely go back!
The menu is limited and pricey. The buffet was $24 as of September 20th, 2025. I had a bacon and cheese omelet which tastes good, but wasn't great considering it was $17 (comes with potatoes or grits, and choice of bread), for the bread I chose a crossiant which was toasted beautifully. My mother had the down south, $17, which was their version of biscuits with gravy. The gravy tasted like a chicken bass gravy, not a true white sausage gravy. They forgot to bring one of her sides and while the server was friendly, seemed spread a bit thin amongst all his tables. After our first morning, we have opted to eat off site.

This place has such potential! It looks like a breakfast buffet place in a hotel (it is) but then the dinner menu is really good and the service is great! A little makeover would go a long way!
