2nd time here. The food is very good. Huge portions. Service is friendly and attentive. On the second floor. It's just a great hotel bar.

Be aware of subpar food! The only reason to recommend this restaurant is the view. The food had a distinctly frozen taste, the sauces tasted like a McCormick gravy packet from the grocery store, and the meats were tough. The atmosphere is also quit ruined by the peeling tables, the dirty windows, and the scratches on the wall. Additionally is the quality of the hostess and waitstaff who all appeared to have been last restart hires. Do yourself a favor and do not subject your taste buds to such acrimonious pairings!

We stayed at the hotel. We had the breakfast buffet every morning. The breakfast was good. Nice selection. Absolutely adored our server Lily.

The menu is limited for lunch and far from great. We ordered southern hot chicken sandwich and pepperoni flatbread. Both were bland, sodium heavy and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't return to this restaurant. We stayed at the hotel, thus why we did.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator for those who need it.

Swordfish on a carrot mashed potato, with charred asparagus, and then Bailey’s Tirimasu. Absolutely fantastic! George is a great waiter too. Can't wait to come back!

I have really mixed reviews about this place. They do let you choose from two menus, the Bar Veranda and their menu. The first night I went here I got their cheeseburger from the bar menu. It was actually pretty good (juicy and cooked perfectly) and the fries were good too. It was quite big and I couldn't finish it. A couple night later I came in and the wait was really long due to there being a couple of events going on. I went with the crab cakes for $20 and they were not worth that at all. Very small and not really flavorful. I ordered a Brooklyn Roni which had tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, and pepperoni on it. It was just weird and I ended up taking most of the ricotta off. It seemed like it was a frozen pizza and they added some ricotta on it as an afterthought. Just not good at all. I had the same waitress both times and she was very nice and helpful. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous. You can see the swimming pool and ocean (before the sun goes down). If you're at the hotel and have to come here...I would consider the bar menu option.

First time visiting Myrtle beach and staying at Hilton Resorts. Ate our first dinner at Amalfi Cafe. Spent $145 for a terrible tasting dinner. Got their T-bone fish of the day with zero seasonings on it. Best part of the dinner was the fig flatbread and the clam chowder soup. Also for breakfast buffet please consider some chicken or turkey sausage options. Not everyone eats pork. Service was good though.

Very disappointed. We went for a nice Valentines Day dinner and the best part of dinner was the view, which was gone as it got dark. The atmosphere of the restaurant is that of a fast food diner. There was a special Valentines Day menu with no option to order from the regular menu. No option to have a salad or soup. No option for vegetables. We had crab stuffed shrimp with grits appetizer, which was ok. Since ordering a steak was not an option, we ordered the Surf and Turf, which was 1 filet medallion, lobster tail (which was cold, tough and chewy) and the lamb chops (which were very undercooked). Two waiters, waiting on approximately 10 tables of couples and slow service.

Went here V-Day, 2024. Wow, from beginning to end, George took care of us in a wonderful way. We had a cocktail then wine. For the appetizer I had (2 giant) bacon wrapped shrimp. It's no exaggeration to say the perfectly cooked shrimp were huge. . For the entree we both had surf & turf. The filet was great and I haven't had such a large tender lobster! Truly the best dinner I've had in ages and "thank you, George!" for taking such great care with your charm and terrific service!

Food was undercooked and cold when served. I ordered the pork chop which was not cooked in the middle. My husband had surf and turf, which was described as a lobster tail and beef medallions. The lobster was cold and had a solid butter mixture on top. There was one small medallion of beef. The lava cake dessert was dry and overcooked. We also ordered chocolate strawberries that we never received. We had waited for 20 minutes and decided to get the check and leave. Over all a disappointing experience.

Our server George was exceptional. His timing was perfect from drinks and bread service, to dinner, and dessert. Chef Denny stopped by our table...what a treat. Our food was perfectly prepared and we had a beautiful view to show our out-of-town guest.

I know there are may circumstances that effect anyone's experience , and that just about any dining experience there is always something that isn't perfect- that is life as we know it. However when each thing that isn't right or isn't necessarily small and or the amount things add up to more than just one or two or three its time for a walk out.First thing we got there early and checked at the hostess to which was not friendly at all, even looked like she wasn't feeling well , we got a drink at the bar to which the bartender was coughing the entire time while making my drink , at least i was thinking the bourbon would kill anything that could contaminate the drink. We were sitting in the bar area lounge and waiting and freezing we kept our coats and hats on , after asking about the heat they indicated it the heat was on but we felt noooo heat.at 5pm promptly we were seated by the window for the great ocean view .. yes we were still very cold and asked again about the heat with no avail even watching the staff warm their hands under the food warming lights I was very tempted to join them as the warming lights looked very inviting. The waiter was nice but his cologne was so powerful the smell encompassed our table and lingered so that our food and items at the table smelled and tasted of cologne, i can still smell it a day later.. ugh .. headache is coming.yes we are still very cold not heatWe got the hot soup to warm us up but it was only hot in certain portions of the bowl not all was hot prob the typical microwave inconsistencies. We took a few minutes to order and make up our mind but had to flag him down to finally order the entree'swhen it came to exactly 6PM after exactly one hour of being seated freezing with cologne and no entree's yet it was time to pack it in go home take some ibuprofen eat some hot oatmeal and go to bedits a shame our date day / night turned out this way we really wanted to try a new placeits also a shame that we have become so casual for these staffers to dress in jeans and sweats and could care less about being professional courteous friendly helpful classy .

Restaurant week menu was great. Our waiter George was very friendly. The beet salad was delicious and very large. My husband had the shrimp and they were very accommodating to ensure the dish was not spicy. The shrimp was served on top of awesome baked Mac and cheese. My pork chop flavor was good..could have been a bit more tender. The key lime pie and red velvet desserts were scrumptious. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be returning.
