Everything was exceptional My only complaint was a little girl who whistled during most of our dinner. No one asked her to stop. Not even her parents. So annoying!

Some of the best food we've had in Myrtle Beach area - can't believe I haven't heard of this place sooner!

Loved everything about our meal. Oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail and delicious steaks.

The food was excellent and our waitress was awesome. I think her name was Lacie. She was so knowledgeable about the menu. She also told us about the 4 alligators in the pond and all the interesting wildlife outside. The meal included delicious cheese muffins and blueberry muffins plus a delicious salad with housemade dressing. And because it was my birthday I got a free dessert...strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream that was huge! We will definitely come back to celebrate a special occasion.

Great food and service. Happy hour at bar was cozy with friendly service. Fresh catch with shrimp and pasta was amazing while biscuit and muffins at beginning was a treat.

Our waiter, Chris was excellent. The food was outstanding. We loved the views of the lake. Highly recommend. Also, the food prices were spot on.

First time at this restaurant and it was an overall wonderful experience. Lacy is an excellent server with a pleasant demeanor, and great customer handling skills. Food was excellent from the appetizers (lobster bites, fried green tomatoes)to the main course(crab cakes, rib eye steak, scallops)to dessert ( key lime pie). This is will be a must visit for me when I visit Myrtle Beach next time.

Our server was young and inexperienced. He was slow and forgot half our food. Requested coffee which he brought with our check. Forgot our side order of shrimp until he brought it with ice cream. The food was great and the view exceptional

The waitress did a nice job on service but she was slowed diwn by the number of tables she had to attend. The food was outstanding and the ambiance was nice.

The food, location & ambience was great! Homemade muffins were yummy but we were told they were sweet potato but were a berry type. Told she would check to see if there were any more sweet potato, but she never told us anything. Our lemons were ordered & never came for our water, but used the lemon from our cocktail shrimp. I think our server was seated too many tables at once. Overall, lovely location & yummy food.

Buffet was not appealing as it used to be. Not worth $50 per person. Eggs benefit was cold , hard yolks. Place was basically empty, yet waitress didn't take dishes away. They piled up we had to call her over to remove. She never brought coffee until we reminded her half way through meal.

We really enjoyed our date night at Chestnut Hill. The steak was delicious and we were surprised to see alligators swimming around in the lake! Only negative was there were too many onions and not enough mushrooms in the side dish.

Would never have come had I known it was buffet only. Buffet food was terrible. Everything looked like it was just thrown together. Even presentation looked sloppy. Would have left if it wasn't a holiday and probably other restaurants were full. Not at all up to the usual Chestnut Hill standards. Extremely disappointing. Will not come back for a holiday meal.
