Chile Frito Mexican Restaurant is a great place to enjoy authentic Mexican food, located at the end of a shopping plaza. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing individual bowls of chips along with three different salsa choices, which are regarded as some of the best. The combination fajitas remain a popular menu item, offering large portions at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a nice bar with many different margaritas to choose from and makes excellent margaritas. Taco Tuesdays are a highlight, featuring delicious tacos and churros for dessert. Gabo, a staff member, has made many fans with his incredible pork dish. The food is fresh and delicious, including excellent shredded beef quesadillas, though some customers noted that the quesadilla is actually two tacos loaded with chicken and cheese. The garlic flounder paired with white Mexican rice and black beans is amazing. While some customers found the atmosphere decent, they noted that servers occasionally hovered too closely, which made them feel rushed. However, many appreciated the great service, with staff being quick and attentive. Despite being a hole-in-the-wall place, it remains a perfect spot for a "go-to" Mexican dining experience, especially since five people can dine with drinks for under $150.
