Food is quite sub par, honestly. We got the 2 most expensive plates. The $39 fish and “jumbo shrimp” combo and $44 churrasco steak. The fish was bad - definitely just a frozen filet out of a bag with no seasoning. I had to spit it out. The “jumbo shrimp” was 3 normal sized shrimp. That’s it. Yikes! The steak was pretty good but the beans/rice were mushy. Also wonder if it was a frozen mix. Everyone else’s plate that we saw come out was also pretty subpar and small. I would stick to cheap American food here like sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. Don’t spend $110 like we did after tax and tip for 2 plates. Complained to the manager about the fish and asked if they could discount that plate and said they don’t have may discounts they can give out ? so he comped us a free dessert. We appreciated the gesture but the dessert was also meh. ??♂️ This is a resort food trap with subpar offerings and inflated prices.

This spot is absolutely rigged. The online menu said it was about 20* ish dollars for a few things. It was 95 dollars for 2 people for a mediocre pizza that was not filling a basket of shrimp and fries that were cold, a cocktail with a cheap vodka and a single shot of bourbon on ice. It's not worth the wait nor do the waiters actually stick around long enough to get everything needed for your meal with out them practically running off.

Love overlooking the beach. Food was great. Evening wait staff is a bit more personable, relaxed than the AM “buffet” staff. (much busier pace). Recommend for a nice, evening meal, close to the beach.

Crabcakes were fishy no grouper sandwich. Did not seem like beach food at all. And the pizza has horrible crust. It's more crust and dough than any topping.

Terrible. I stayed in the hotel and wanted to order and the guy on the phone was rude and he didn't even try to help

Great service! Ian the bartender was super nice and ordered food for takeout and it was fast and good.
We were staying at the Hilton Myrtle Beach and knew there was a boardwalk that connected the two sister hotels (Coastal Grill is in the Embassy Suites). The Sales Manager (Alan) for both hotels had recommended the new restaurant here (it was actually the Black Drum) but we ended up here when we walked in so we assumed this is where he sent us. No worries though as it was excellent. I had the Slap Burger which was one of the best burgers I have had out...the bacon on it was crispy! Be aware that the portions are huge...the club my friend ordered ended up feeding two people...she took half back to a coworker. Our waiter although soft spoken was very good and laughed at our stupid jokes. We will be back here next summer so I plan to try the Black Drum then...or maybe I will just go back here for another burger as it was so good!
Stayed at Kingston for a week. Got take out from here twice. Both times the food was made correctly and enjoyable. Wife enjoyed the turkey blt wrap, the pizza was good size and kids loved. Grilled chicken was also good. Can’t comment on breakfast or eating in. But to go was fast and easy.

Ian S the bartender was just great. Very attentive and helped us find some great local attractions. Thanks Ian see you next year.
The food and views were a let down. The description of the menu items vs what we received were disappointing. The Mediterranean pasta was more Sicilian-Bolognese mush but they called it Mediterranean because the dish had kalamata olives. There was absolutely no garlic and the pasta was unnecessarily greasy. It did the job of warding off our hunger but it wasn't the "coastal grill" fare we were expecting. The dining experience is more of a Chili's/all inclusive kids resort/cruise ship type of style, vs an actual restaurant. The traditional margaritas tasted like Minute Maid Lemonade and tequila with salt on the rim. I ordered another drink that was good and strong but had a chemical after taste. The staff was pleasant, though.

The food was good but a little high in price. The server was helpful with suggestions and providing what I needed. The food arrived fairly quickly. I recommend going later due to difficulty finding seating. Overall, it's worth trying.

Morgan was great! She has the biggest smile on her face and is happy to help with recommendations! So glad I got to sit at a table by the window and enjoy the beach views during my meal!
Our server Morgan was super sweet! The food is basic but dependable and easy to please everyone. View of the water makes it even better!
