I personally like the coffee and open-mic nights here; however, there was a time I experienced an out-of-control guy overpowering one of the woman staff members here. Myself, along with multiple other men, stood up to help this woman out. After the situation had de-esculated though, all the men, including myself, were scorned by the owner, Kate, for helping to protect this women from harm. Now, I grew up learning to respect and protect the women around me, but that kind of stuff is obviously not welcomed here. My advice, just keep to yourself during times like this one; otherwise, you may develop a sour taste for this place like I have.

The owner Kate is truly passionate about helping those in need. She provides space for church and AA groups, allows donations to and from of clothing and food and provides direction and guidance to many Myrtle beach residents who are down on their luck. Her coffee is good too!
