We are visiting from out of town, I have a certified ESA, and looking for a friendly face to take care of us. We tried Hard Rock Cafe, they immediately asked for proof and turned their nose up at the thought of even accommodation us. We left and came to Good Times Charley's and am I glad we did. The manager Mike made us feel welcome and gave us ZERO shame about my ESA. Thank you Mike for turning my experience here in Myrtle Beach around, just by being kind.

When we arrived at Good Time Charley’s we were starving (with two extremely hungry and tired kiddos). We sat down to sticky tables and sticky menus. We immediately ordered our drinks, appetizers, and meals so that we could get our food quickly. 20 minutes later, we still hadn’t even gotten drinks. We know this for sure because the kids were watching videos on a device while we waited and they were more than 20 minutes into the video they were watching when the drinks finally arrived. The staff failed to inform us that they were out of the appetizer we ordered. We found out second hand when we overheard the waiter tell patrons at another table that there were no more mozzarella sticks left. It would have been courteous to ask if we wanted a different appetizer, but no one did. When our drinks ran empty, I had to go up to the bar myself and ask for refills since no one seemed to check on us or ask. Just before our food arrived we saw cockroaches crawling across the walls. I have two blurry photos attached as it wouldn’t let me upload the video. But the nail in the coffin was when another cockroach crawled up my brother’s arm and into the lap of my sister-in-law. The entire experience was disgusting and we were not happy with the added gratuity (that was not mentioned or advertised). We do not recommend this establishment.
