We are visiting from out of town, I have a certified ESA, and looking for a friendly face to take care of us. We tried Hard Rock Cafe, they immediately asked for proof and turned their nose up at the thought of even accommodation us. We left and came to Good Times Charley's and am I glad we did. The manager Mike made us feel welcome and gave us ZERO shame about my ESA. Thank you Mike for turning my experience here in Myrtle Beach around, just by being kind.
We ate here and the food was great and great prices for a family of 5. There was a little bit of a wait but it was well worth it and the employees are so nice. I like business's at the beach that does not force gratuity on you, I tend to tip larger when gratuity is not forced on me. We had a great waitress(I can't remember her name) but we tipped her BIG!
I would say 3.6 stars is fair. We were on our way to hard rock but it was closed so we checked out good time Charley’s. We were nervous about the 3.6 star review but it wasn’t bad. We ordered fried pickle chips and they were great 10/10. We saw negative reviews on the French fries but in our experience they were the best thing on the menu 10/10. My chicken tacos were missing any flavor, not bad but not anything to write home about 5/10. My partners cheeseburger was the same...
