“Seems like I always forget about how dang good the burgers are from The Porch in Socastee ! Met a friend there the other day and had a late lunch while catching up on a few things.I got the cheeseburger ? and added chili, as you can see on the picture. What did I like about the burger? The fact that it wasn't a frozen, pre pattied run of the mill, massed produced burger.. INSTEAD, it was an in house, hand pattied burger! And if you are ANY type of foodie, you know the obvious difference. If you're not a foodie, and don't know the difference, I ask that you just try a burger from here... and taste the difference for yourself!I wish I was able to tell Ralph this personally, and I feel bad that I'd forgotten how REALLY GOOD they are, so I'm here to tell all of you who may actually READ my words... swing by and try it of you have the chance!“
“Good food and nice staff, as a tourist it's exactly what I wanted for a nice dinner with family. Our table was dirty and some dishes wet, but it was a busy night and the staff was very apologetic and fixed it when mentioned. Should I ever come back to SC I'd 100% eat again!“
“Haven't been to a bar in years and was looking for a nice little place close to home to start visiting on a regular basis. Prices seem to be pretty good. Limited selection on bourbon and scotch. Also a very limited selection of liquor in general. I would say the bartender was very responsible wouldn't serve people that came in that were obviously drunk already. They may be in need of security because I witnessed a two guys that kept getting into a heated argument which the cook was always quick to break up but was surprised they didn't ask one to leave especially the one that kept going over to instigate it. But all in all a pretty good little bar. The cigarette smoke wasn't too bad and I did step outside to smoke on my cigar and to escape the loud music. I will definitely give the place another try in the future.“
“Great fresh cut fries right in the heart of all the action. The place is filthy and the service is horrible, but at least they have good fries. So if you don't mind a little wait in line, a cashier that just stares at you without saying a word, and substandard cleanliness standards at this cash-only venue, then some decent fries can be yours for under $6 for a small and up to $11 for a bucket.“
“Came in randomly. Got some tequila and buffalo garlic wings, and fries. Wings are fried and tossed. The wings were delicious. Tender and juicy. The fries were smacking. I don't like everyone's fries, but this place got it right. I would definitely come “
“It's a fun visit and definitely something that's fun to do. Service was really really slow and it wasn't very busy. Other than that, pretty good experience.Food was typical. You don't go there for super-fantastic food, but for the experience. Enjoy it and have decent food.“
