We were recommended to try Landrys while visiting Myrtle Beach Broadway on the beach for our anniversary. The service was great, and we really enjoyed the ribeye. It was excellent. .
Reservations were kept on time. Restaurant was clean as expected. Our server, Jason, was wonderful. He was attentive, punctual with refills and had our order just right. On the other hand, the food was not on par for what we've experienced from other Landry's. Landry's has changed their gumbo which I felt was awful. The roux was very thick red based with a fishy taste. The crawfish etouffe was bland with the tiniest crawfish. The crabcake was not very appealing...
Surprisingly great restaurant with wide menu. A bit pricey but aren't all restaurants now a days? For the few people dining, the food took longer than expected but it was worth the wait. Had a party of 12 people and all agreed the food was great. A pet peeve of mine is when the restaurant is so loud you can't hear one another but here you could hear the conversation going on at the opposite side of the table. Will go back there again.
