We were there on April 20th 2024 with six other people and I must say this was the very best experience that we have ever had the food was excellent and so was the service our server was Thomas and he was great this by far is the best Italian Restaurant in Myrtle Beach.

Elegant and beautiful experience. There was a live violinist playing while we ate. The bread and oil was delicious as was our meal. The staff were quick and very polite. Would definitely go there again!

Good food, good service. Generous portions. Party of 7, glad we got away from the tourist section of Myrtle Beach for a nice dinner.

We arrived and asked for a table. There were several tables open yet took the hostess a bit to figure out seating us.The server arrived fairly quick and got our drinks. After we ordered we didn’t see our server again for a significant amount of time. The table beside us got their meals and finished before our appetizer arrived. We finished our appetizer and waited and waited for our starter salads. We finished that and our server wandered back over and advised the kitchen was backed up and that was why our mains were delayed. We sat there for over 1.5hrs and our main dish arrived. This is supposed to be an authentic Italian restaurant family owned and operated….the sauce on the ravioli tasted like watered down pizza sauce and has no business being on pasta! The music is so obnoxiously loud we couldn’t hear ourselves. We asked for the check and boxes so we could leave. Our server disappeared again so we left without waiting for our change. This equaled a 25% tip for our server which really wasn’t warranted. We went here based on all the high ratings and reviews and could not have been more disappointed.Atmosphere is a 0Wait time and service is a 0Food quality is a 0DO NOT GO HERE!

After 5 minutes of them figuring out if they could seat us they finally sat us in their way over crowded back dining room. Our server was very nice and got our drinks right away and took our orders, nothing special just 2 cheese ravioli, 2 salads and a cheese artichoke dip stater. After 20 minutes we finally got our stater, 20 minutes after that we got our salads and finally after about 75 minutes after we were seated we got our dinner. At that point we just asked for take boxes and the check. We did taste the sauce before we left and it tasted like a pizza topping.Overall not a great experience. The artichoke dip was good but the rest of the food was meh. And the to top it off the place was so loud that when we left our ears were ringing like we had been at a concert.Oh and unlike the other reviews say this place is not kid friendly like it says. Sure you can bring kids but it’s a loud adult atmosphere.

I'll start with the positive comments: the Caesar salad was excellent (but they charge you a $3 surcharge) and the bread/oil was also very good. My dad's veal parmigiana was large and tasty. I got a 16 ounce veal chop - that was about 8 or 10 ounces - and it cost $50 or $55 I forget. The other two meals were marginal. The place is extremely noisy - couldn't even hear talk across the table. They sat a group of 6 behind us despite there being plenty of room elsewhere - one woman took a bathe in cheap perfume. $210 for 4 meals (veal osso bucco, veal parmigiana, salmon, and a seafood dish) with no drinks and no dessert. Won't be going back.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from Lombardo's based on other "I heard from this person." I made a reservation and followed up with a call and was put on hold for 5 minutes. Needless to say, I was at the restaurant in 5 minutes. We couldn't be more pleased. Dennis "the menace" took care of us at the bar. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet. On Dennis' recommendation and it was awesome. My wife had shrimp parm and I had the pork ossobucco. Both dishes were outstanding. For dessert it was the creme brûlée cheesecake which also rocked. I grew up in NYC and ate Italian food on more than one occasion, so I can vouch for those two meals. Go and enjoy. Let me know how other meals fare. One knock. They need baked clams on the menu.

Came here with the Lombardo's! Certainly an interesting experience to end the trip. Not sure what was going on. Drinks got me pretty fuck3D up. Kinda hammered. I wish there was something I could do. Food alright. Enjoy some photos. I'd say it was chill.

Service was absent. Noise level was deafening! Singer had a nice voice but it was so loud people were screaming at each other to have any conversation. We were seated under the door alarm so it buzzed every time anyone came in or left. Asked if it could be turned off and they moved us to another table that was 12 inches from a table full of dirty dishes. Asked for a refill on the ice tea. 30 minutes later we flagged down the hostess and she got our server that had disappeared. Same issue with getting the check. Food was decent but could not enjoy the meal. Will not return.

It was one of the best meals I have had. Escargot appetizer was stupendous. I had Lombardo Cioppino, which was shrimp, lobster, clams, mussels, and scallops in a delicious red sauce. It was fantastic. My wife had veal osso bucco that she absolutely loved. This is one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach. The service was great too.

Just called and tried to make reservations for my husband's and I 7yr wedding anniversary and was rudely greeted on the phone by "Anne". She first left me on hold for 2+ mins, when she returned to the call, she forgot I was on hold until the phone rang back as she stated, she then over talked and rushed me as I was trying to get information about a private room and you all's restaurant, she stated she was too busy sitting tables and basically started rushing me in my booking. We found you all from simply sitting across the street at Pizza Hut waiting on our order, so I decided to look you all up on Google and read your reviews. My husband and I became excited about the reviews and pics and decided this is where we should celebrate our wedding anniversary and this is what prompted our call. I had her on speaker and even my husband said wow she is rushing you, over talking you and just rude. Her rushing us and her rudeness made us decide to NOT dine here. We get better customer service across the street at Pizza Hut driving all the way from Carolina Forest. We are truly disappointed in how we were greeted and treated over the phone and as the old saying goes "Your first impression is your last impression." We called back to speak with the manager but she stated they are not they there and she'd pass a message to them, in which I doubt, so we decided to go to Google reviews. Thanks but no thanks!
