Stopped in to check out the Paula Deen Store. Lots of fun items for sale.The store is very well organized. Broken down into major areas and a super friendly staff.Would have loved to see a demo because that kitchen demo area was impressive.Stop on by and check it put for yourself. And remember, when in doubt, add butter!

As I was walking down the Broadway I caught glimpse of an apron on a mannequin through a window I loved. Walked in and as I was searching for another two associates offered to help me find one. Came back and only had two left which they made a tag for and off with me it went. The shopping section smelled wonderful from the kitchen upstairs. I will return to try the food on my next visit.

***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip******This review is for checking it out from the entrance area only***After visiting the Paula Deen Store, I wanted to check out Paula Deen's Family Kitchen which happens to be right upstairs above the store. This restaurant is an all-you-can-eat establishment. It serves family-style portions only. What that means is the portions are big that can be shared by several people. Refills are allowed at no additional charge. They do not offer to go boxes.I was travelling by myself at the time, hence, it didn't make sense for me to have family-style portions not to say that I couldn't take them all down... I do love to eat and I can eat LOL. Now that I think back, what does it matter if it was family-style. It's just like any other AYCE, but they serve the foods to you versus you go getting the foods yourself. Prices are actually pretty reasonable. For about $22 per person, you choose 2 Down Home Dishes and 4 of Paula's Famous Sides for the table with unlimited refills... not too shabby.Anyway, I just took the escalator up and looked inside the restaurant from the front check-in entrance area. Staff at the front was nice. I did get a selfie with Paula (not in person just her cardboard cutout) LOL. Well, I had my chance to eat here and I didn't take it. I guess I'll have to return to one of Paula Deen's Family Kitchen locations in the near future to try her famous southern fried chicken and yummy sides. I'll see you when I see you Paula Deen!P.S. This place was excellent! Please don't go here until you are HUNGRY! The food is awesome and reminds me of home cooking for real! Our server, Cristy, was just a jewel! She was patient when explaining the menu and items and smiled the whole time I asked 100 questions. She checked on us regularly and deserved a big tip! The place is decorated very nicely and reminds you of an upscale beach-house. They offer many items for sell also. We will be visiting again in the near future.

The restaurant is two floors, the bottom floor has the restroom and a store similar to Cracker Barrel. The upper floor is the dining room. There are so many photos of Paula Deen upon entering, it was almost eerie. There is a set price for each person, and meals are served "family style", meaning the table shares the meal. The food was delicious, which is the only reason I chose two stars. Service was okay, but the part that bothered me most was the amount of wasted food we left behind. We never got any refills, they were our first plates served, but we all got full fast. By the time we got back to the hotel, we were all wishing we had more to eat. We will not be back.

Every trip to MBSC warrants a trip here. There were 5 in our party. The food was good and served hot. The servings were robust. And the desserts were the best.

Ask for Kyle, he was a great server! Very attentive, funny, and engaging with our group. Would recommend this restaurant food was great!
