A marvelous dining experience in a family owned/operated Italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The service from the host to the servers was nothing short of excellent and friendly. The dishes were very well presented and the portions are very satisfying. As appetizers we had the zucchini fries and fried calamari & shrimp. For the mains we had the eggplant parmigiana, grouper with crab and fillet mignon with lamb and risotto. All were very well prepared, perfectly seasoned and above all extremely delicious. We also tried a variety of their Maestri Italian beer which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend the dining experience here. Don't miss out!

My family and I had dinner here and my dish was fabulous (risotto) and so was the wine, however my sister’s and brothers (lasagna) food wasn’t that appealing.

We had such a great experience here. Every bite of food was exceptional. We all ordered different chefs specials and we were blown away by the quality and the cook on each of our meals. The service was absolutely excellent as well. Our server BJ was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and made great recommendations. The chef visited our table and spoke with us briefly and was an absolute delight. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, really one of the highlights of our vacation. If you are looking for great Italian food, look no further.

Portofino is wonderful. Easily the nicest Italian restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area. Tastefully decorated, the open dining room is attended by the proprietors and their great team of servers and bartenders.

The food ranges from standards; chicken parm, alfredo and carbonara dishes and outstanding meat and seafood entrees; to one of a kind specials.

I can honestly say that I have never had a bad, or even mediocre meal, at Portofino. Whenever we want a nice meal in a great atmosphere in Myrtle Beach, this is where we go.
