Taqueria Guanajuato is hands down my favorite Mexican spot in all of Horry and personally the best that I know of in SC. Their campechanos are slamming, I also like their sopes and burritos. On top of that I have been eating there for a few years now and they always try to be helpful and nice, they also recently expanded the dining area so you can sit with your family or friends.
One of the most authentic Mexican food I had in SC.Beef tongue taco was phenomenal, meat was very tender and delicious! The other dish I had was amazing, too. The green sauce chips was well seasoned and paired with cheese on top.Service was great, the waitress was not very good at English but she tried her best to serve us and checked the order twice to make sure there are no issues.

Overall, our experience was okay. We walked in and weren’t greeted so we sat ourselves. In the back.We ordered drinks & got the drinks after a few minutes, with the exception of some water. We placed our food order around 2:20pm. After 20 minutes of getting the other drinks, we asked for the cup of water again and a server with a bow (not our server but she was super friendly!) helped us out.We got half our order around 3:10pm and the fries were cold.
