The staff was incredible. Saraj, Caitlin, Jeff and Sarah at the spa, Cristina was a friendly barista. The property is stunning. Phil, a manager was always helpful and kind. There’s always pool towels filled to swim. Caleb, at the front desk was a mind reader. Made sure, all our needs were met. The spa was amazing. Has an all around wonderful stay. Will be returning for a getaway. Thank you for all the work your hotel and staff does to ensure a pleasant stay.

I've stayed at this property twice. It's a great location on the beach and the pool area is very nice. I did enjoy the Cabanas. The first time, the service at the pool was poor and disappointing. But this most recent stay changed that due to the server. Kudos to D'Andre for the great service and follow up.

Had a fantastic time there with my wife. Great location on the beach and beautiful room with a ocean view and a beautiful pool. I was able to check in using the Marriott app. It even let me choose an arrival time and the hotel was able to accommodate a early check in for us. It all worked out perfectly! So very happy with everything and the staff is so friendly and will go out of their way to help you and take care of you. Parking is great using the covered parking garage. Very happy and will be going back every year! A big Thank You to Wesley at the front desk who was able to check me in at my requested time and I was able to get a ocean view room! Thank you to the entire staff who made our stay in Myrtle Beach a great one!

The pools were refreshing and kept clean. We enjoyed how they provide beach towels for us. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and our waiter, Mo, provided excellent service and had us in stitches. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. when there are issues with the room, the maintenance staff is prompt and responsive. The resort staff are pleasant and respectful. our family had a wonderful time at this resort!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa. The property is notably older, but well-kept and gives "Southern Charm" vibes. The pools were amazing and the beach being steps away was the highlight. Staff was kind and professional in every area. Will definitely visit again.

This Marriott is subpar in every way. We came here for a relaxing getaway and did not have use of our room for a full day due to plumbing issues. When our room was finally moved that night it was to a worse room. At 10:30pm my husband had to fight to get yet another room as the toilet was running all over the floor. The next day we discovered there was no safe and were told it would be installed immediately. 2 hours later no safe and the room wasn’t cleaned. The hotel manager offered us free breakfast coupons which we already had for every day as this was a corporate get away. She said take them anyway. My husband went back and asked if we could have something we could actually use and we were given a poolside seating with cushions and umbrella which was supposed to include free water and fruit. We never got fruit and could only use it for two days as we left early on our last day. The final straw was we went for a walk and came back at 5:10pm. We wanted to enjoy sitting by the pool our last night there. The woman next to us had her cushions. It was obvious we were coming right back as my husband’s glasses his drink and my beach bag were there. We asked for our cushions and were told no that they got off work at 5pm. The cushions were literally piled up right in front of us. Also do not go to the spa which is also sub par. I was up charged 60.00 for add ons which I was not informed of and when I was given the bill I specifically asked if the 20% gratuity was included. She said Yes. I asked for a receipt and was told it would be on my room.when I got the bill it was over 230.00. They had added on another 20%. Other people in my party heard her say the total charge was 193.42. Apparently my word was not good enough because the man at the front desk basically said I had no proof. We have been Marriott members for years and own an ocean front timeshare in Aruba. I have never been treated so poorly. Not one day of this vacation was relaxing thanks to this poor, poor service.

We go to this hotel every year. What happened to all the umbrellasin the pool area? The entire row of lounge chairs, (up against the wall near the cove), no longer have umbrellas! There used to be a small table and an umbrella for every two lounge chairs. Now it is hard to get a set of lounges and have an umbrella to shade from the sun. My wife got severe sun burn even with SPF30! I hope they will increase the number of umbrellas or else we will no longer visit this Marriott. And by the way, there always seems to be people who do not stay at this hotel who park their car in the parking garage, get their beach chairs and use the pool and beach area. The stop and get towels. You should have to give your room number and name. We see this every year. Lastly, the grounds are very nice. Nice improvement to the water slide and the breakfast is fantastic. The front desk people and all the staff are exceptional at this hotel. Keep up the good work, but please bring back the umbrellas.

It’s our second stay in the resort in 2 years. For lack of a better word, the resort is simply amazing! The friendly reception team, the spacious guest room, the beach, the pools and all the amenities made everyone comfortable and relaxed, we’ll definitely come back again.

Went on Labor Day weekend with family including 2 kids. I had picked Mariott over some of the cheaper options that had indoor water parks and stuff given our history of nice comfortable stays at other Mariott locations. This one was a disappointment. Paid over 400$ a night for a partial ocean view room and it did not even have a balcony. To be honest, the little metal overlook in place of the balcony could be dangerous if you have little kids. Kids and wife hated it. We used to love early mornings on the balcony on our beach vacations. I thought all Mariott rooms had one. I felt like the booking system should have made it clear that the room did not have a balcony. Just ruins the whole “ocean view” experience. Apart from that, whole night some equipment noise - probably the air conditioning system - kept disturbing our sleep. Cleanliness and service etc was good - usual Mariott standards that we like. Next trip we’ll be staying some place else and also looking closely at room features when booking Mariott.

The food was excellent and MO (the gentleman that took great care of us), was fantastic! He is the best! We will definitely ask for MO the next time we come to eat. The food was so fresh and delicious!
