The Melting Pot Myrtle Beach

This was our second time, but it has been years. We took our son this time, his first time. Jeff, our server, was great! He explained everything, and advised us on choices. Food was great and we had a good time.

We enjoyed our full dinner- but the waiter could not explain the kids menu well. There is no one price- it’s a la cart- he did not say this we just figured it out. Very overpriced for kids items but a good experience overall.

One of these you gotta try it at least once. Pricey to say the least, especially to have to cook your own food. But it was delicious. Honestly could have done without the cheese and bread but it was ok. The main course was excellent, and the chocolate fondue will probably bring me back over and over just to have it. Excellent service and smiling faces from walking in to leaving.

I have no idea where this place got such a high rating — I haven’t had such a disappointing experience in a long time. The host is nowhere to be found, wandering around instead of greeting guests. They make a show of asking how everything is, and when you say not so bad, they just respond, “Great, enjoy!” and walk off. The trendy name “fondue” is actually just a regular hot pot. Except in a proper Korean hot pot, you get a wide variety of dishes and unlimited refills, whereas here they bring you a pathetic plate with a few pieces and a soup that’s basically salty water with pepper. The sauces are absolutely boring and lack any interesting flavor. The food probably costs them $5 per person at most, but they charge you $34 each. The portions are absolutely tiny. They bring the check and take away your plates while you’re still finishing eating. I do not recommend it. I’m attaching a photo of the two plates of ingredients we got for $68.

Had the most wonderful experience at this melting pot. Our server, Enzu was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and dietary alternatives to menu items. He made this experience so much fun for our entire party. The food was also amazing, per usual.

It took for us like 3 hours to finish our 4 course meal and we didn’t realize how the time passed. You get the feeling that you are in a professionally managed restaurant. The food was delicious and quality. This was my first time and I will be going again for sure

Be prepared to enjoy your time at this restaurant if you enjoy cooking your food for appetizer, entree, and dessert. I would not recommend the chicken. Go with the steak - well seasoned and tastes best. The cook times are a bit off. Veggies and steak need to cook longer then suggested.
The cheese appetizer was really good and if I return it would be for this.
Our waiter explained the process in an entertaining fashion. He made the experience fun!! He suggested based on his liking which gave us a good guide.
