Sugami offers delicious food with a sweet and attentive server. The restaurant's ambiance is somewhat lacking, with outdated and slightly dirty bathrooms and other areas. However, the food more than makes up for this. The tuna tower and mussels are standout dishes, with the former being a perfect shareable size for three people. The hibachi filet/scallop combo is cooked to perfection, and the edamame and 3-roll combo meal are also highly praised. Chef Tu's rapport with customers is excellent, and the homemade sauces add a special touch to the dining experience. Overall, Sugami provides a good experience, despite some minor drawbacks.
