Love this place! The stone grill is incredible!
Great experience!
Came in because we saw the 'sushi pop' on TikTok.
The server was very honest when we came in that sushi was taking a bit longer because they only had 1 sushi chef. Definitely appreciated her honesty!
Famiky of six and we ordered gyoza, edamame, multiple sushi rolls (including a California roll sushi pop!), ramen, yakisoba, orange chicken with fried rice, miso soup & clear soup. My 4 kids tried pretty much everything and really enjoyed it all!...read full review

Sugami offers delicious food with a sweet and attentive server. The restaurant's ambiance has a bit of a 70's feel, which some might find outdated, but it adds character compared to bland strip mall restaurants. The bathrooms and other areas could use some cleaning, but the food more than makes up for this. The tuna tower and mussels are standout dishes, with the tuna tower being a perfect shareable size for three people. The hibachi filet/scallop combo is cooked to perfection, and the Pad Thai, lo mein, and sushi have all received high praise. Customers can enjoy a great variety of Asian dishes, and the waitstaff, including the host, provide excellent service. Chef Tu has a good rapport with guests, and the homemade sauces enhance the dining experience. Parking can be a little tight, but it’s manageable. Overall, Sugami is one of the better Asian restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area, providing a good experience despite some minor drawbacks.
