“Trendy styling in a location that gets them good traffic, but my dishes were only average. I had a good lunch experience and was served well. Apps are small, though flavored well, the dumplings I received were not hot. Rainbow roll was good, but I came away feeling as though the tuna wasn’t as fresh as I expected. Flavor was fine. (Maybe I’m spoiled on really good sushi) I would go back, nothing was bad… just a little over hyped I guess. Pricing was fair for location.“

“Came here tonight with my fiancé about 20mins after they opened, lady at the front took our name and number said it would be about a 30-45min wait. So we go back to the car wait about 45 mins we call to ask our place in line the lady again said about 20-30mins so after waiting another 45mins we decided to just leave it was around 4:45pm when we got there it is now 9:47pm and we have still not received anything, they never called or texted us to say our table was ready. The manager "Wicky" on the name tag, has made this place the best in the area. The original restaurant on 544 is good, don't get me wrong, but the prices here are a bit cheaper since it's take out and the food and staff are the best people around every time I come in. Online ordering options and ordering pads across from the register mounted on the wall for speed and convenience for every type of person. If you're here on vacation, try them out. Tasty, quick, convenient, and inexpensive 10 out of 10 hibachi entrees.“

“Even though this is a strip mall Japanese ramen restaurant, don't let that deter you from coming here! This is a great alternative especially when you're sick of eating calabash seafood and burgers. Food was fresh and priced very fairly. Our ramen was very flavorful. The steamed veggie dumplings were fine and delicious. The menu was quite large as well. The service was excellent! The owner came over several times to make sure we were enjoying our food and to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back here again when we are in the area!

Vegetarian options: My wife and I both eat a vegan diet and it was very easy for us to find plenty of things to eat on the menu. There's a separate section of vegetable sushi. As well as vegetable stir fry options and vegetable ramen. And the vegetable Robin has a vegetable broth which sometimes isn't the case.“

“Hibachi is one of my all time favorite foods and this place does not disappoint! Everything is fresh and tastes great. I have never been a big sushi person but the quality here has changed my mind and has encouraged me to order new rolls and venture out! Pictured is the chicken and steak hibachi (split portion) and an American Dream roll (my new favorite!) I definitely recommend visiting this place and enjoying the overall experience!“

“According to Uber Eats, it would appear I am Hibachi 88's number one customer, we really love it so much! The quality of the food is incredible and always consistent. We've tried multiple different dishes but our constant favorites are the teriyaki chicken and the shrimp noodle dinners. I'm already looking forward to ordering again!“

“Sometimes we like to find a place that’s not publicized everywhere. We were in the mood for Chinese food after leaving Boardwalk. This place was about 5 minutes away. It looked like a typical Chinese takeout place. But there was lots of seating and clean. Food was really good and there was a huge selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable for the amount you get. We were looking for entrees we would get if we came back. Lots of free parking and across from Walmart.“
