Unreliable and dishonest — took payment but never followed through.

We ordered dinner for 6 people. 2 of those were kids and we planned dinner around bedtime. An hour AFTER we ordered, when we were expecting our food at any minute, we got a text that our order had been cancelled. They will NEVER get any business from me or anyone I can convince to stay away. There are way too many great places in NMB to put up with that.

We are locals - live close by and OMG this is The Best Pizza ever! A weekly go to for us and our Italian friends and neighbors. I honestly hate to share how great they are cos it may make my wait times longer!

We didn’t know they had a fire and was basically closed. They did have a very small section open. We all went to shoot pool and decided to leave. I went to the restroom and came out. They didn’t know I was still there and the bartender was talking crap about is just coming in and leaving. We have frequented this place every bike week for years. Not anymore.

Overpriced and Underwhelming – Not Worth What They’re Charging

This place was just way overpriced for what you get. I ordered a calzone and a chicken parm sandwich that came with fries, and the total came to $37. That’s a lot—especially when the calzone alone ended up being over $20 after toppings or whatever. I’ve paid $17 for a calzone before at another place, but it was massive—like, came-in-a-pizza-box massive—and actually tasted amazing. This one? Tiny. Regular-sized, maybe even a bit small. No way it should be over $10–12, even for a higher-end spot. It felt like a ripoff the second I picked up the box.

As for the sandwich, it was nothing special. Just your standard chicken parm with some fries. It was fine, not bad, but definitely not impressive. Not huge, not particularly well-made, just average. And at these prices, average isn’t good enough.

I get that it’s a tourist town and they’re gonna charge more, but the value just isn’t there. I’ve had way better food, in bigger portions, for cheaper—so what exactly am I paying for here?

To be fair, the service wasn’t bad. The woman behind the counter was nice. She filled my water jug without hesitation, didn’t mind that I was in the lot feeding my dog, and let me take my time getting things organized before leaving. So I’m not trying to trash the people—just the prices and portion sizes, which are flat-out ridiculous.

When you're paying this much, the food should either blow you away or be big enough to justify the cost. This was neither. I left there carrying the food thinking, *this better be dense as hell to make up for the size*—and nope, just light, unimpressive, and overpriced.

Great pizza. Great staff!

Great little sports bar with excellent food and happy hour! We dropped in one evening and enjoyed the fish & chips and seared ahi tuna. Both very good. Drinks were very reasonable and strong :-). Four pool tables and plenty of tvs.

I visited The Waterway with my son during Thanksgiving week. It was my first visit and was impressed with the service and how nice I was treated. It is a bar restaurant where locals go and was quite busy. I met the owner who was very kind. He also does a lot of charity activities for kids in the area. Very humble and unassuming...great individual!

Coldest Beer on the Grandstand!

In a group of 8 and only 4 other customers there
Took a long time to get our food, 6 of us got our food and the other 2 had to wait another half hour to get theirs
