We had breakfast delivered to our room at Waterscapes Restaurant, and it was absolutely outstanding. The French toast was exceptional, the applewood bacon was perfectly cooked, the salmon board was fresh and beautifully presented, and everything arrived hot and exactly as ordered. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations.

What truly made the experience special was Dorean’s service. Professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail, Dorean delivered a level of hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare. The timing was perfect, the presentation was excellent, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the experience.

When great food is paired with exceptional service, it creates a memorable experience, and that’s exactly what happened here. Thank you, Dorean, and the Waterscapes team for a wonderful start to our day. We look forward to returning!

We went for Mother's Day and the food was good, but very cold temperature with average service. We were disappointed when we got the bill there was an automatic 25% gratuity and we were informed by the service staff that was not her gratuity, it was shared. So there was expectations for gratuity above the 25%.

Restaurant was completely empty but the food was fantastic. Short Ribs were among the best I've tried. She crab soup was LOADED with crab. NY strip was slightly overcooked but still fantastic and not to the point where id send it back. Bread with the infused oil was delicious. Prices were about what you'd expect for a resort hotel. Only 1 server for the entire restaurant indoor and outdoor but he handled it well. Very convenient location being in the hotel. Overall I'd give it 4.5 stars just taking off a half star because the steak was closer to medium than medium rare but still tasty.

0 stars for me. Absolutely awful experience for everything: food, service, atmosphere 0/10. Do not come here and waste your time or your money here. You’re better off eating a wish sandwich on a park bench.

Menu was asked to be condensed due to large party (12 people). If the menu is condensed, we naturally expect the food to be decent and edible? Steak was way overdone and we asked to be prepared medium. I never received my appetizer (shrimp cocktail) until my entree came out after others received their apps. A couple at the table did not have an opportunity to put in their entree order.

Service was 0/10. There were two servers at our table that could not handle our party of 12 people. They were just a mess. No pre-bussing table. No refilling drinks in timely manner.

They told me that I could bring my cake for my friend that was an expensive cake mind you- to only half-ass bring out the cake. They brought out the cake behind the birthday girl and set it down on the table behind her… have you ever heard of blowing out your cake behind you? Like what? No bussing our dinner plates before the desert. No desert plates, no silverware for desert. How is this place considered “fine dining”? The cake was brought in its own box from the cake place I picked it up from. They threw away the box without checking with us- they instead brought out a cardboard box that was from their trash/ recycling area from the kitchen. They then continued to wrap the box in plastic wrap with painter tape. Absolutely disgusting. The food and beverage manager Shannon Prouty basically told me via voicemail the next day that this restaurant doesn’t have protocol with cakes. I’ve NEVER in my life been to a fine dining restaurant where they do not bring back the cake box?

Atmosphere 0/10. The servers did not look like they wanted to be there at all. There were no bartenders, no hostess, no manager on site. The man in the kitchen was so rude and told me there was no gratuity on our bills. Then guess what happened! They pre- grated all of our checks after confirming there would be none. Shannon also mentioned in her voicemail that it’s protocol basically to pre-grat larger parties. For what? If we actually had service, I could understand making sure gratuity was added. No wonder we had half ass service because they knew they would at least get minimum tip off of our checks.

There was no manager for us to speak to, it’s just a mess. This place is a pathetic excuse for a restaurant at this hotel. We again, were the only party there in the ENTIRE restaurant. We walked in and quickly realized we were the only people dining there which should have been red flag number 1.

There was no concern for any compensation at all. Pathetic excuse for food and beverage management and restaurant overall.

Our reservation was at 7:30pm…. We left at 11pm. Why? Because 2 people could not separate our checks properly. They kept getting confused about who had what. It was such an awful experience. Please do not come here unless you’d like a story to tell your friends about a place to recommend not to go to.

I wish we all had dined at Olive Garden instead because at least we would know that we would have great service, food and the proper respect from the staff and management.

if i could give 0 stars i would. the thought that this place says 4.3 stars is DIABOLICAL!!! I went with a party of 10 to have a birthday dinner and We were given a simplified menu of just like nine items, Which is understandable if the restaurant was packed. But it wasn’t we were the only table there, the service was horrendous. A couple at the table was neved able to put in their entrée order because the server said she would come back around to put in their order and never did. One of the people at my table didn’t get their appetizer that they ordered. The table was never pre-bust throughout the entire night. We brought in a bottle of Prosecco and they put it on ice for us in the back and never proceeded to bring the Prosecco back to the table. We had to ask multiple times to refill on our Prosecco. The short ribs were disgusting, the steak was overcooked. We asked for a medium. It was well over well done. The only thing that was slightly decent on the menu was the salmon. We also brought a cake in and asked them to keep it in the back, which they did and then four hours later brought the cake out and we sang happy birthday to the birthday girl, and then we went to pack the cake up and they had thrown away our cake box. So they decided to wrap it in saran wrap and throw it in a box that they probably had already kept in the trashcan. The box was dirty. Everything about the experience was a mess. They also proceeded to tell us the gratuity was going to be taken off, but of course it wasn’t. There was a service charge. To think that this restaurant is considered fine dining is pathetic. We had the worst experience ever never got any apology for anything. Once again, if the restaurant was packed, I would understand for the poor service, but we were the only table in the entire restaurant and the service to begin with with terrible. We were there for over four hours and waited for our checks for an hour. Do not waste your time on this restaurant.

I genuinely cannot believe this restaurant operates inside such a beautiful hotel because this was, without question, the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

We were literally the ONLY table in the entire restaurant, yet somehow every part of service was a disaster. The table sat uncleared the entire night, multiple guests never even had their dinners ordered correctly, and the short rib was completely inedible. The charcuterie board was laughably bad, and somehow two glasses of wine, two vodka sodas, and that appetizer alone came to $94.

The birthday cake situation was beyond embarrassing. They threw away the original cake box and handed it back to us shoved into an Amazon box sealed with masking tape. When they brought the cake out, they placed the lit cake BEHIND the birthday girl on a separate table while we awkwardly sang Happy Birthday. No utensils. No plates ready. Nothing.

Then came the checks — which took OVER 55 minutes to arrive despite the restaurant being empty. We were also told the checks were not pre-gratuity included, only to discover they already were.

The most shocking part? Not a single person apologized. No urgency, no accountability, no care whatsoever.

This restaurant is located in a pristine hotel and upscale area, which makes the experience even more disappointing because the service felt worse than a cheap roadside diner. Completely unacceptable from start to finish.

If I could give zero stars I would. There on a Wednesday not a soul in the place, service was slow, NOT fine dining whatsoever. Felt like a half ass effort at running a McDonald’s. Steak was overdone, they threw away our box that our expensive cake came in and put it in a literal packing box that their frozen shrimp came in. Didn’t clear plates, set our birthday cake with candles on it across the room while we were singing happy birthday instead of bringing it to the table with the candles fully ablaze!!!! Didn’t take half the tables entree order and brought out food an hour later. I would rather spoon out my eyeballs than ever come here again.

Maybe I’m just cheep, but I walked down there to order 3 adult waffles, 1 kids waffle, 1 kids pancake, and a coke. Then walked myself back down there to pick it up. When I questioned why I was charged a service fee, she said it was because it was a to go order. That’s ridiculous. They gave me 2 kids pancakes instead of a waffle, so I ended up eating a kids sized meal. The coke they gave me was a mini 12 oz bottle, my receipt shows $8.88 for that. Total rip off. Ordered 5 meals that had syrup listed, only gave me 4 cups. Waffle ingredients aren’t expensive. Again, maybe I’m cheep, but charging me over $86 for a tiny coke, 3 waffles and 2 kids waffles/pancakes is just ridiculous.

Large anniversary party with an early seating. We practically had the restaurant to ourselves and receive attentive customer service. Joseph took great care of our group from advance reservation to serving our custom dessert. The she crab soup and crab cake were delicious and ambience added to our celebration.
