“We loved everything. The atmosphere was comfy, french onion soup was literally incredible. All the food was incredibly tasty. We took dessert to go and enjoyed all the recommendations our server gave who was also such a treat. I believe her name was Bella… It became our new favorite local restaurant instantly!“

“One of my favorite places to eat! I’m 84 years old but I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the great staff. Nothing stuffy, just friendly. They have super sandwiches and coffee and I can’t get away without buying pastries to bring home and share.“

“Food was great as always. Wait staff was all over the place. They're very respectful and active. I think they were trying to do to much and they kept forgetting to refill drinks or bring drinks that were ordered. For a ½ full restaurant, the owner either needs to hire more staff, or give the wait staff a break.“

“I love to sit and sip while I work. The environment is friendly and inviting. On a nice day, I can sit out on the balcony. And I can chill inside on the couch when it's too hot. The custard is great, the coffee is delicious, and the baked goods hit the spot every time.“

“I recently went through a total Laryngectomy Surgical procedure. Before I totally lost my voice due to throat cancer, my brother treated me to a night out. We started the night at Joe's, walked Broad St., shot some pool at another establishment, and ended up back at Joe's as intended. Joe's was the best part of the night! We had the best conversations there! Some of my last conversations with him. Normally, the draft beer & juke box being down would be negatives!!! But, for that night, other than the bartender, we were the only 2 customers in the place! I t created an intimate and wonderful evening for me & my brother! We still got our drinks, talked the night away, & had a magical night! Here it is, over 2 weeks later, after 12 hours worth of surgery, 1 & 1/2 days in i.c.u., plus 7 days in the hospital... Never able to speak again... I'll never forget that night at Joe's Underground! Thank u!“

“We booked Ubora as the venue for our wedding reception! They were so communicative and accommodating. We had a guest count of about 50 people. It was a great space for our event! Thank you again! ❤️“
“I stop by here a lot for coffee when I'm in the cyber center. I'm always happy with what I receive. To me, a local restaurant always beats a chain like Starbucks.
I used them for catering an event recently, and was quite impressed with their ability to accommodate food allergies. I had some attendees with shellfish and tree nut allergies who were able to eat the meal. They even had great vegan options. I got several compliments afterwards from attendees on the catered lunch, so I definitely plan on using them again.“

“My first time going, and the customer service was amazing. The atmosphere was spot on. I got the French toast with cheese grits. I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing. And the French toast was soft and moist even after the butter has been sitting on it for a second. 10/10 highly recommend. Best breakfast ever😋🥰🩷🫶🏾“

“Crossroads Cafe in Beech Island, SC ... this place is just a treasure! They open at 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Closed on Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast menu has all the favorites! The bacon is a nice thick cut, perfectly cooked. And, oh my, the hashbrowns are just fabulous, serving size is plentiful enough to share! They use REAL cheese! Better than anything you ever had at the awful waffle. Biscuits weren't ready, so I am unable to comment. Prices are actually less expensive, as well! So, all you Savannah River Site people, slow your butts down, and pay this place a visit! For lunch, they are a meat and two veggies. Their fried chicken, country fried steak are quite good (better than WifeSaver), their cornbread is a little dry for my tastes. The veggies are canned; however, they will do. I sure do wish they were fresh, especially the mashed taters. The atmosphere is full of jokes, and laughter as the locals enjoy their meal and each other's company. I have thoroughly enjoyed each visit, and this place goes on the rotation. This place is 4.5 out 5, and well worth the price, and a stop! ~ The Good Food Girls @followers“
