Do not eat at this establishment. The service and management were completely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. Our party’s first experience here was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The manager (a white female) and the cook (a white male) displayed unacceptable behavior toward us as paying customers. The waitress, Lauren, was dishonest and claimed we were being “difficult,” when in fact we were only trying to ensure that our first visit—and that of our friends—was pleasant. Instead, it was far from it.
The runner brought out my friend’s food but placed the plate on the opposite end of the table instead of serving it directly to her. When we attempted to pass it to her, the food slid off and fell. When she politely requested that it be remade, the restaurant refused to accommodate her. She then asked for the meal to be taken off the bill since she had already waited longer than anyone else and needed to leave soon.
In a separate incident, the restaurant brought out a completely different dish but still used the same plate that had previously been sent back. On another occasion, the manager made an unnecessary and unprofessional comment to my husband about my friend, stating that she “doesn’t like anything.”
To make matters worse, Lauren told my friend (who cannot eat pork for dietary reasons) that she could not be accommodated. My friend calmly said that was fine and she simply would not eat. The manager stated that the pork could be removed from the food, but moments later accused us of being “difficult.” When we stood firm and clarified that we were not being difficult—just advocating for respectful service—the manager told us never to return.
The chef became verbally aggressive, refusing to refund the prepaid meal, stating she would “have to take him to small claims court.” That level of hostility and unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any dining establishment.
We left immediately, shocked and disappointed by how we were treated. We are all Black, and based on how this situation unfolded, we did not feel welcomed or valued—only tolerated.
I will never spend my hard-earned Black dollars in a place that fails to treat customers with basic respect and decency. This was a disgraceful experience, and I strongly caution others against dining here.

As I travel for work, I stay in the area frequently. This was my 3rd try to visit, as they have recently reduced their days open. Solo diner on an early Friday evening. I was seated at a patio hightop table immediately. The view of the river and sunset are spectacular! A fairly limited menu of mostly small plates. I had a glass of rosé and the Oysters Rockabilly. The oysters were small, but delicious. My server, Lauren was sweet and attentive. I would give all 5s if the oysters were more plump.

This riverfront spot is absolutely stunning—if you dine at the right time, you’ll catch a nice sunset views. The atmosphere is cozy and aesthetic, perfect for a special occasion. While the menu isn’t huge, every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The drinks were fun and tasty, and the service was truly above and beyond. We came as a party of 12 for a friend’s birthday, and the staff handled it flawlessly with warmth and professionalism. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend

It's a place for drinks and vibes- and those are good. Food is not a reason to go.

This place is a great little hangout spot or date night spot so long as you eat before you show up. The atmosphere is very nice and the aesthetic is beautiful. The hostess was awesome, our waitress though was clearly ready to go home. It’s important to know though you’re pretty much just paying for the aesthetic. The drinks are extremely small, and the food portions are even smaller. For 4 very small sliders (enough to maybe satisfy a single person) , 1 drink, and some caviar, it came out to a little over $80 before the tip. With that said, the food was decent. Not great, but decent. So if you don’t mind paying the price of a full meal, for a small snack that doesn’t taste very impressive, come hungry. If you like to actually eat when you’re out, grab a meal from another establishment before showing up. The drinks were delicious, but as stated much smaller than drinks you’ll get almost anywhere else. Overall a nice experience. Would go back, just would not show up hungry.

Just went there this weekend for my birthday. The place was very pretty, loved the atmosphere. My service was great and my server Adrianna was so pleasant and friendly! She really made my birthday feel special! The food was lacking. I was hoping for more oyster options. The options they did have felt lackluster and taste wise was just simply okay. I would go back but only for drinks.

Stunning restaurant, but the food is incredibly expensive and not great. The deviled eggs were $12 and the portion was 4 very small, hard halves. We opted not to order the shrimp sliders—$15 for 2 that we were told would have been too small to share with the 4 of us. 4 dumplings. $12. Ridiculous. We paid our bill and went downstairs to eat. The pictures and menu shown are not correct; we were told they were for a different restaurant. So much potential, but we refuse to be ripped off.

Took my mom here. Had oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp sliders. Oh, also had the watermelon crawl drink. The oysters were very good but they didnt bring us enough crackers ( 8 crackers for 12 oysters doesnt equal out). The shrimp were large but far from fresh and far from being even remotely ( Charleston or beaufort) sourced. And the shrimp sliders had no flavor at all. I wish I could tell all bartenders that a drink doesnt have to be strong to be good. In fact, it sometimes causes a good drink to be a really nasty one. This was that kind of drink. Could not drink more than 3 sips of it. The waitress checked on us 1 time. The table was way to small to hold more than 1 plate at a time. And it was overpriced for what we got. If it had not been for the good company I had with me I would have considered this a very dossapointing evening. They need to update their menu online ( both food and drink) because I didnt see half of what I had been looking forward to all week there.

Though the food was very delicious, portions were small and they don't have an entrée menu, just appetizer size.

Such a beautiful space. The location is literally perfect it feels like a beach front restaurant. Very elegant. The espresso martinis were so freaking good! The menu is small but the offerings are solid. I will definitely be revisiting.
