The people here were very nice and help me to order since I never been here before. Food was delicious. I love the fact that there was a grocery store right next door in case I wanted to order anything but the drinks as well. There's them they have a mango drink. I wish I knew what was in it but it is delicious. I would order tons of those because they're so delicious and so flavorful of mango

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to with this one! My 2nd time eating here and it’s just as good as the first time! The most authentic Indian food I have tasted! I gave other Indian restaurants a try closer to me but no shade to the other restaurants but they don’t come as close as this one when it comes to taste! We were running a bit late to pick up our food before closing and they called us to make sure we were still coming. We really appreciated that! From now on this is our go to Indian restaurant! Thanks again!

Always delicious. Wonderful people. Our fave for years. All the classic flavors we love. Relaxing atmosphere. We often get Navratan Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala or Paneer Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer etc. They have a banquet room in the back. Delicious vegetarian options and desserts. We usually come for dinner but they have an awesome lunch buffet. Lots of fun to peruse the attached market.

The Queen on King

Bombay India Food in Charleston is an absolute gem. From the moment the dishes arrive at the table, it is immediately clear that this is authentic, thoughtfully prepared Indian cuisine made with genuine care and craftsmanship. The flavors are vibrant, balanced, and deeply satisfying in a way that only truly homemade cooking can deliver.

The garlic naan deserves special recognition. It is, without question, the best I have ever had. Warm, perfectly blistered, and clearly made fresh in-house, the bread has the ideal balance of softness and slight crispness along the edges. The garlic is fragrant without overpowering, and the texture is exactly what great naan should be: pillowy, buttery, and irresistible. It elevates every dish it accompanies.

Equally impressive is the value. The prices are remarkably reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food. It is rare to find homemade Indian cooking of this caliber at such accessible prices. Every plate feels generous, comforting, and crafted with pride.

Charleston has many wonderful dining options, but Bombay India Food stands out for its authenticity, warmth, and exceptional flavor. If you appreciate real Indian cuisine made from scratch, this place is absolutely worth visiting. It is the kind of restaurant you return to again and again.

This is a jewel of Indian Food tucked away in North Charleston. We were a group of 8 and a few of us with very picky taste buds and the food we ordered was served perfect - temperature, taste, service - yep all three at one place. I wish we had this restaurant in our town.

The food we ordered was a mix of traditional vegetarian food - lentils and vegetables with Naan, garlic naan and aloo Parantha, soup, idli / sambhar and chicken biryani. We paid $100 for the food including 18% gratuity and taxes. The price in my perspective was reasonable.

The initial reaction when walking in the restaurant was not very encouraging, for a variety of reasons, which you will realize when you visit. However, it did not stop us from still trying the place out with pleasantly surprising experience.

Strongly recommend the place to anyone looking for Authentic Indian Restaurant with reasonable price and exceptional food quality and staff service. The looks are deceptive just have faith.
