If you can navigate their poor parking situation, the food and service will make up for it!

I recently moved here about a week ago and stopped into this location as it was near work. I automatically felt overwhelmed with the amount of guest that were already in line ahead of me. Knowing that I had limited time I asked the woman that took my order to recommend something that was quick but also good. She suggested an in house favorite and advised that it would be out in no time. 20 mins later and two more refills of what was some really good sweet tea; I'm still waiting on my order. Now I will admit it was busy but I think I was caught up on the fact that I had expressed I didn't have a lot of time, I was new there, and that my order would be quick. That's when I met Taylor! I had no idea at the time she was the GM and only found out this morning. She came over to check on me and notice right away that while I was calm; I was getting antsy. She took it upon herself to call out my order to the back and get me an update and apologized for the wait. Moments later, not only did she give my food to to me herself, but comped the meal as well. This took me by surprise because you just don't find people who actually care anymore. This small act of kindness is what made me return to the restaurant this morning for a quick breakfast. Kudos to you Taylor for making my experience worth it and showing amazing leadership and kindness to your guest.

The food here is great, but the cashier was insanely rude and had a bad attitude. My husband tried to ask a question about the menu and she rolled her eyes and just said names of sandwiches.

The best Itlian sub sandwich I’ve ever had!! Loaded with meat, soft bread. Pasta salad side was really good as well.

Chief Ruben, Turkey Ruben, The Citadel are all spectacular sandwiches that set EBD apart from any other sandwich joint. So tasty, great customer service and a chill/retro vibe, would 100% recommend

We went to East Bay Deli on Dorchester Rd for lunch on Wednesday, May 27th. I had a salad bar and my husband had a Deli dip. The salad bar looked so fresh and everything was delicious! I tried the chicken salad and was surprised to know that that and all the salads are made in house! My husbands deli dip was just the right amount of meat and melt for the au jus! We ended our lunch with a piece of the creamy NY cheesecake. Debra, the manager, was amazing and friendly! The girls at the front were polite and welcoming, as well.

MEH. I've never eaten here before. So I had some extra time and gave it a shot. The sandwich I had was the Charleston Dip. The roast beef was lacking in flavor as was the broth to dip the sandwich. The size of the sandwich was about average. I ordered fries which were hot, but were getting soggy from being in the Styrofoam container. I'm not a pickle person, so I don't really understand the logic so much of it. No issues with the service, the cashier and servers were pleasant. Maybe I'll give them another shot, not sure yet.

I had issues with my online order… Pickup was easy, the food was hot and fresh. The team went above and beyond it make it right. They even delivered the food to me this time around. THANK YOU EBD ! Yall really made my day with excellent customer service!

Good afternoon, my friend and I went to your establishment. Which I eat at alot.
I needed assistance putting my lid on my cup( they are very hard to put on). My friend needed assistance as well.
I went to the salad bar looking for assistance. I was standing where the wrapped utensils are ( by the salad bar). The same girl that took my order was coming out with orders. She instantly with an attitude said you can't be back here. I responded I was looking for someone to assist me with my lid.
With a nasty attitude she keep saying I needed to move back. I grabbed a set of wrapped utensils as I did so ( with a very nasty attitude and saying things under her breath as she put my lid on).
I do not know what the hell the problem was. I did NOTHING wrong. She clearly has issues functioning in public.
I absolutely did not come in to spend $20 on a wrap to be treated like this.
I will absolutely never be back in your establishment.
Where do you find these employees? Let her know her to keep her stank and nasty attitude in check when she's at work.

First the cashier was rude , I greeted her and no greeting back , prompted to take my order. She seems nice to her regulars though. I stressed to her I wanted my pastrami sandwich grilled well … more than twice . Shes barely listening to me because she’s interrupting me during my order to ask questions because I’m not ordering in the sequence of her register . I waited about 10 for a barely grilled pastrami sandwich. Her non Chalant attitude made me not want to even ask for a remake . I typically go on University and they make perfect every time . I’m pissed so I mostly came to vent .

Best deli I've run into in that north of Charleston area. Excellent sandwiches. Quality meat. Though I have to say, it's the tower cake slices that make it a place I stop at everytime I'm in the area.

Food wasn’t hot , my cheese looked like it had been microwaved also my fries were cold but service was great and great atmosphere
