“I ordered on UberEats and asked for my okra to be made with a bit of crunch but a soft inside. Most places burn or undercook it when I ask for that, but not here. They made the perfect okra, small crunch on the outside with a gooey inside. Absolutely, hands down, best okra I've had in years. I haven't even looked at the rest of my order, it doesn't matter to me, just this lovely, perfect okra.“

“My friend and I hadn’t seen each other in a very long time. I suggested having dinner at Taverna since Philosophia and Taverna are my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant.. My friend was so excited because she hadn’t been there before and I told her,”you will not be disappointed.” Justin, one of the owners, greeted me at the door with a big welcome back as I had been away for three months in New Jersey. I introduced him to my friend Brantlee, and she told him she was very excited to try the food since she loved the food at Philosophia. We started with an appetizer of Kataifi Shrimp, which Justin suggested for Brantlee and I ordered half a dozen delicious oysters. She loved the shrimp and couldn’t wait for the entrée. Brantlee ordered the Tagliatelle which was absolutely scrumptious and I ordered the seared scallops, which are always the best. I was so happy to see my friend enjoy the incredible food and attention that the staff and Justin always provides. We finished the night off with a delicious dessert that Justin sent to the table as a courtesy. How much better can it get? Once again, I can’t say enough good things about Justin and Dimitri, both owners work so hard to delight their customers. Thank you, Justin for a wonderful evening for my friend and I. ❤️“

“Living downtown Charleston we have the option to go to either the Mount Pleasant location or West Ashley, but I choose West Ashley every single time.

The main reason is the people. The manager and the team there go above and beyond every time I come in. You can tell they really care about the store, the food, and the customers. The staff is always friendly, the line moves smoothly, and the food is consistently fresh and well made.

Even though Mount Pleasant is an option, I’ll keep driving to West Ashley because the service and leadership there make a huge difference. When a team takes that much pride in what they do, it shows- and should be recognized.“

“I came in last Tuesday and had such a lovely experience. Kelly went above and beyond as a server and was such a beautiful soul. She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven. I don’t have enough kind words in my vocabulary to say how wonderful the service was, specifically kelly. I wasn’t going to get dessert but kelly hyped it up so much that I could not resist getting it. She needs to be given a raise or something cause my dining experience was 1000000/10. I will be coming back all the time for the food but also for the service!“
