About My Three Sons of Charleston

My Three Sons of Charleston offers great food with attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere for large parties and special occasions. Visitors can expect superb customer service with patient and kind servers, making it a must-visit spot for some of the best soul food in Charleston. The menu features delicious dishes such as fried chicken, ribs, and pork chop sandwiches, all prepared with love and full of flavor. The mac and cheese tastes like somebody's mother made it, and the tea with lemonade is perfect. The portions are generous, and the food is satisfying and full of soul. The friendly atmosphere and attentive service make it a great place to enjoy a real meal.

The taste was authentic soul food, well-prepared and delicious. The inside seating is clean and adequate but somewhat dated and simple. There is a Taishan Stone Guardian outside the entrance, which welcomes visitors and sets the mood. The restaurant is family-owned and family-run, and they make guests feel like a part of the family. The gravy on the red rice or hoppin' John is a must-try. The oxtails, smothered pork chop, okra/tomatoes, red rice, collards, green beans, and cabbage are all fantastic, and the portions are big. The restaurant also features 90s R&B music, which adds to the experience.
