This soul food gem completely blew me away! The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was packed with rich, comforting flavors that tasted just like a home-cooked meal. The fried whiting was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the collard greens were seasoned to perfection. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent.

The atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly staff who made sure I felt right at home. Portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality.

If you're craving authentic, flavorful soul food, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wife and I decided not to cook today on this beautiful Sunday and wanted to go to my 3 son's to eat..let's just say we should have cook..the food plate was tiny and 2 plates for 36 dollars no desert no drinks all for 2 plates..?
I love my black own but price wise we be jumping these food plates wayyy to high.
But wish them much love and success..

The food is delicious. The ribs were falling off the bone. The cornbread was slightly sweet. The okra soup was to die for. I will 100% be going back for more. It's the home cooking you wish your momma could do ??

The reviews are an understatement. We went to Charleston on honeymoon and on our last day went here before heading home. If only we found this place sooner, we would've eaten here everyday. My husband picked up the turkey wing and the meat literally fell off the bone. No restaurant in Charleston holds a candle to the food this place creates.

The soul food here is absolutely delicious especially the smothered turkey wing. The cabbage and green beans are equally delicious. The red velvet cake is very thick and not up to the standard of the rest of the food. However the sweet tea is amazing and some of the best.

If your looking for some good tasting southern cuisine while you're in the Charleston area, this is definitely the spot. It's not a fancy spot but who needs fancy when the food is so good. We met a few of the family members and everyone was so kind and friendly. This restaurant was one of the best parts of my weekend getaway. Thanks family!

Amazing food !!! The staff is very welcoming!! I will definitely be back !!! Try the seafood rice ! You cant go wrong with the seafood rice!!!

This place is great, I went by to have lunch with a friend of mine and the food was amazing. The Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had! And the Barak which is a drink they make is so good you will want a refill! The prices are reasonable and the customer service I received from the staff was a 10. Scottie our server explained the menu to us with great detail. You have to try this place!
