If you haven't been to Riva Mare at the Navy Yard yet, make a reservation immediately. I recently had the Trofie alla Genovese, and it was exceptional—perfectly twisted trofie pasta coated in a vibrant basil pesto with crunchy pine nuts, rich parmesan, and fresh summer beans. We had such a wonderful dinner at Riva Mare! The food is delicious. Our server, Sam, was absolutely fantastic! She made it such a fun night! Can’t wait to come back.
Excellent venue! The food is amazing and they have a great wine list to pair with it. This is a perfect date spot or a place to give yourself a treat. There is an elevator to the top floor. Even in the summer heat there was a gorgeous breeze. The pasta is homemade and you can tell; cooked al dente, so if you aren’t used to Italian food cooked correctly, it is NOT under cooked! I will be back!
