“My food was great, prepared perfectly. But what I'm really on here to do is give a huge shout out to the amazing service I received from the woman working around 4:45 today! I wish I had gotten her name, she seemed like she might be a manager, not sure, if she isn't then she should be. But if that location is reading this, its the sweet woman with a 7 month old grandbaby She was so sweet! We chatted about a few random things and she just made me feel like she really cared about others! & I really appreciate that!
I went to the subway on dorchester rd last week, the one in the shopping plaza with publix next to ashley phosphate, and the women working in there, especially the chubby white girl with darker blonde hair just seemed like they hated life and every customer that walked in. That white girl put off such bad vibes I felt depressed when I left there. I came in with a smile saying hello and told her I had an online order. She said she hadnt made it yet which i expected, I let her know thats fine i just placed it. Then asked how her day is today and didnt get a word out of her. She did not want to conversate, smile, make eye contact, nothing.
BUT THIS LOCATION ON UNIVERSITY! OMG I LOVE YOU!!!
Thank you for treating me so great tonight!
I appreciate you!!!“
“All the staff members and customers were required to wear a mask. Also, some tables were left with no chairs to keep the social distance. The subway sandwiches were great , too. I do appreciate the warm welcoming and smiling faces. Thank you guys.“
“I have always liked this Subway location on McMillan Avenue in North Charleston as it is a reliable source for good sandwiches and cookies. This is one of the best places for lunch or snack in the immediate area around it. The staff here is very cool and works hard to make sure that you get your sandwiches made just how you want them. They are well worth a visit if you are hungry and need a well made sandwich.“
“This subway is sometimes the best subway in town for some reason. I think the employees really are better higher quality employees than other subways.but they are way under staffed. Ive seen people working alone. Ive seen two people there. but always endless streams of customers. Subway in general needs to pay it's employees more. I always tip but I hate that I have to. Theres a deli next door I will switch to if the employees that I love and appreciate ever leave and are replaced by average subway employees.“
“This subway is lightyears better than 10125 Dorchester road, which does not accept coupons! After coming to this Subway and asking the nice lady at the counter if they accept coupons, she informed us that they actually aren't allowed to turn down coupons and they HAVE to accept them. She also kindly let us know that we could call corporate on the other establishment, which is exactly what I'll be doing.
Aside from that, the portions are big, and instead of just 1 employee working (aka refusing your coupons and staring you down as if you're less than them), they had 4 very nice employees working on the line to make sure you can be in and out quickly. I'll definitely be coming here again.“
“I tried the Philly sub for the first time and it is actually pretty good the only thing I can suggest is that it needs more meat, sometimes when I was taking a bite it was just bread and cheese because they're not putting enough meat on it. I think they want you to ask for, I think it's the deluxe where they put 50% more meat on it but I shouldn't have to pay extra for a sandwich to taste good so my suggestion to this Subway is throw a little bit more meat on there.“
