$20 cover fee for THIS bar is ridiculous. The only attraction is the bands. Parking is whack.

WE LOVE OURSELVES SOME PURPY BUFFY
Excellent 👌🏼 vibes & services! Room to move & the outside area is a plus.
Never been here and don’t ever plan on it. But I do live in the neighborhood across the tracks from this place and I’m about sick of having to pick up pictures off my floor every time they decide to have something outside. The music is soooooo loud it rattles things off my walls, my young kids can’t sleep, my husband and I can’t sleep. We work every day. This is unacceptable. Need to be respectful of surrounding neighbors. Playing music this loud until 130 am is not cool. I’ve lived in this house for 30+ years and did not have any problem until this establishment opened up.
Great place to catch bands and art!
10/10 would rave again. Cool scene focusing on local DJs with super fun popup events and occasional big names playing shows here ✨🤙✨ cheap drinks too
Stupid tab policy where they hold your card. I forgot to close tab out and now when i show up when they re supposed to be open no one is here. Holding my credit card hostage and i have to come at an inconvenience to myself to come get it, instead of them just charging a 20% tip which i am okay with leaving if i left with an open tab.
The purple Buffalo is a Charleston staple for live music and art gatherings. Like if you think you liked Coreys or the Oasis, the buffalo is the place to fill that void 10/10 WILL go again
Kid-friendliness: I haven't seen many kids over the years, but some shows are family friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible. Front and back

This is my favorite venue for live music. It's a great bar and chill atmosphere. Plenty of room to chill and catering as well. The prices are really good and so are the people.
I play in a band and we hit this place up in May, the bar and service was alright. Same can't really be said about the show, the venues sound guy had no idea what he was doing, venue sound, acoustics, and PA system sucked, we could barely hear ourselves over the monitors.
The crowd wasn't really anything special either, considering the distance we traveled, granted that's not 100% the venues fault, but the location of the place probably didn't help.
While we're on the topic of location, it's in the ghetto, at least one dude came up asking for drugs.
So yeah, overall not a fan, and we're not going back.
Wonderful my son.performs here all the time love it
