Tropical Grille Charleston

This was the Nastiest food I have ever eaten. The so called manager was not friendly at all. The young Caucasian that served us at or around 4 : 15 or 4:30 was very friendly and polite. We ask the manager for a corporate number , he didn’t have one. And he was the owner. He must have known I was going to make a complaint against his nasty food. I will never eat there again nor will my friend.I will never recommend this place. The man was a Cuban Bowl, how sad. Rice had no taste chicken with no flavor black beans was bland . The green sauce had no top to cover from theelements, The garlic / cilantro was ridiculous. The only star this place deserve is a one for cleanliness.

Food has been great, the few times I’ve been there but it’d be great if they were ever open to get food. Don’t let google fool you, they have a paper on the door saying they close at 3pm every day.

This place is great! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is always kind and polite, and the food is quick and always hot! Highly recommend!!!

My friends I wanted to eat close to our hotel after a day of shopping - we choose this restaurant. Our cashier was patient with us as we asked lots of questions. The bowl was really good, seasoned well.

I was traveling from Miami so unfamiliar with the restaurants in the area. We dropped in and immediately felt comfortable and at home. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and professional.I asked for a special meal not on the menu. They were patient and happy to help me. The food is prepared in front of you. The food is fresh and very tasty. Prices in my opinion very reasonable. The portion sizes were generous. My family and I loved it. The place is very clean. I will definitely return when I am back in Charleston in January.

You will definitely love this place. It was my first time, but I will be back. We had the South of the Boarder, with a side of sweet grilled shrimp. Their sauces are delicious. The customer service was excellent as well. I enjoyed speaking with Daniel (the cook). He stated, that I would be back and he was correct. Great atmosphere!!!

I love their menu and service. I especially love that the establishment is a faith-based ministry with wonderful music playing in the background while you wait. It is awesome to be able to get hot food prepared right in front of you with a smile.

My work orders from there at least once a week. The Cuban sandwiches are unreal!! I would eat there everyday if I could.

Omg! Their food is AMAZING! I had the steak bowl (I can't remember the exact name ?) and my boyfriend had the cuban sandwich, both were FANTASTIC! The sauce are great too! though with how amazing the food already tastes you definitely don't need them, but they're definitely worth trying! I will be back many more times to come, if you haven't tried this place, DO IT!
